Actually not “explaining” things. Just reducing them to the lowest common denominator and shilling for badly made “modern” wines. “Artwork on the sticker?” Please!
Looking at the lable can give you a lot more . I designed wine lables . If lable contains gold , silver , metalic paint or is 3dimentional in any way it costs a lot . Avoid this when buying medium and lower price wines . There is not enough left for the wine inside . Grafic gimicks , many colors , strange names are bad news too. Good wines have simple , 2 color classic lables printed on good paper . There are som exeptions .
I am not a wine expert although I like a good wine with the right dinner. I find Malbec is good with the correct dinner pairing. I bought it when there was a call for wine in making soup which I thought first seemed rather odd. Often I drink that one. Its good because its not sweet yet not overly dry, it has a balance in flavour. I put a bit in although would rather preserve most of it for drinking than I would use in cooking. Wine holds well with roast lamb and brown meats, although many American foods take beer as a better pairing. On spicy foods and wine, I cannot imagine it complementing curry although there was a clip on this one. The cooking spices like cayenne pepper that go in soups, aswell as onions, garlic and recipes that use a small handful of chili flakes and parmesan take very well to wine
i like her style, even the crapy merlot i'm having right now taste good because i'm watching her. she seems like a poet.... but i have a question, is a pricey wine always good?
I could listen to her talk about this stuff all day. She has an amazing style to teaching that makes me retain everything she's saying.
SAME FEELING HERE
She is so knowledgeable, yet has a very inviting poise that captivates the listener. A very full bodied tone.
What is her name ?
I could listen to he all day as well! She is very pleasant!
Exactly!
What an incredible woman - she's so clear, great teacher
First thing i learnt about wine 30, 35 years ago, never ever judge a wine buy it's label not unlike a book.
That said i do enjoy your vlog
Definitely a talented lady teaching about wines. I love that.
I really like Marnie!! She's so great at explaining things!

No, brands often play a part, a bit like champagne is overpriced for what it is. Doesn't mean its not good, just worth more than it actually is
Give this Queen a RAISE 💯
Beutifull voice and well explain
So well done!
You are great. Thanks. This is a set of videos I am passing on to many friends.
Really enjoyable videos, straightforward no nonsense...thank you
I LOVE listening to her
Great lessons! Love’em!
My head just exploded. I loved this video.
I just love the way she talks
That's the Astor Wine Store in Manhattan! I live right near there.
May I have liberty to ask her name?
This was very helpful! Thumbs up from me!
Omg I could hear you talk for hours!
I cook you bring the wine
You are gorgeous
she always has the same clothes on
So did Steve Jobs
she's so hot 😍
I feel dumber after watching this.
WHY the unnecessary/gratuitous cutaway shot of her face? Silly and stupid.
