Despite that “G” stands for “guaranteed” it not always guarantees quality, and depending on each DOCG can be more affected by producer. DOCG makes sure Your wine is sourced from a specific place of origin, made only from the grapes allowed, aged minimal set time, and some DOCGs even control the packaging of wine. 🤷♀️ And it alone does not mean that wine will be good. Unfortunately.
