Self opening parachute, when you look closer you can see a little parachute over the big parachute so he doesn't pull anything just wait like 1-3 seconds then it's opening
VamosJunge I'm not an expert on the matter, but I think the first parachute just kinda chills out and trails behind him. Once he reaches a high enough speed, the drag on the minichute is enough to open the big chute. So essentially, the pull cord is attached to a parachute which requires a certain velocity to be pulled. I could be completely wrong, though. Usually you'll see base jumpers holding the small chute as they jump, like the other guy in the video does. This guy either let it trail behind him during the zipline (unlikely? I think he would have gotten wrapped up by the cord mid flip if he did it that way.) or he pulls it out of somewhere and throws it as he is flipping.
