How did you get it to work?! I installed Protontricks and did all the steps, but when I went to play Kannagi Usagi, it wasn’t working. Did you stay in desktop mode and just click on the game? I’ll look up more when I get home from the dentist, but if you could tell me your trick.
It was for teenage mutant ninja turtles shredders revenge. Local play with family :D. It's strange though i have to repeat this every time i want to play the game :D
To anyone who has issue with the second part of the tutorial, if it doesn’t work immediately, just keep trying to install it. I had to add my game to steam and restart my system before it actually installed so just keep trying until it works. Im not sure this will work for everyone but it did for me.
I added a non steam game that had this error, i copied and pasted the folder inside the “engine” folder in the Boltgun game, there was a folder that said “extra” and inside that folder was the file for the c++ installer… so i copied that exact folder and added it into my non steam game engine folder same as boltgun, and as soon as i went to run the game , the error did not show up, but the request to install c++ did, i installed it and the game work’s flawless
Thanks, the only issue I ran into was that protontricks didn't recognize what was in my SD card. I had to reinstall the game to the main drive for it to be recognized.
@@dontask41 did you add the game to Steam as non-steam game? You need to do that. If you are using Heroic Launcher if you click on the game artwork in "library", click 3 dots (should be on the other side of the game name) and choose "Add to Steam". I hope it helps

I'm using a steamdeck and I get an error when I launch protontricks, and the game im having the issue with dowsnt show up. Where is this "terminal" I'm supposed to copy and paste the override path to? I'm not very tech savvy.
I need to use a command to switch back and forth from my steam libraries in separate drives, and have been forced into the flathub scene, boy do wish they were the ones who would regret it.

it's called konsole on the deck I think not terminal sorry, under system in the start/steam menu in desktop mode
