I can shorten the shocks, flip the steering assembly, buy new wheels, body posts... and build a decent touring car.. but why not get a good touring car to begin with. I just found too many problems with this carbon fiber chassis to say it's worth your money. Check out the aluminum TT-02 clone instead. th-cam.com/video/481psd18MwY/w-d-xo.html
I have one and mine is great, yes I bought with cf shock towers and Hard plastic tires, this weekend in a speed run it got 114km/h on 2s, stable and straight like arrow, and I got this on vídeo
I built 2 TT01 carbon fiber cars. Other than having to upgrade the drivetrain, They run great. Servicing the diffs are annoying, but they are speedrun beast on 3s. Just find what fits you and tune it
Did you get the ones with the carbon fiber shock towers and hard plastic wheels? Did you have to rebuild the steering? I'm curious if I just bought a bad one.
I ordered the same exact one. I noticed it was a bit off. I'm guessing to avoid legal issues for making and exact 1-1 clone, the made some changes. I don't hat the genuine tamiya to compare to so I appreciate you making this video
@@havingfunwithtaegan6624 I'm trying to sort out the steering linkage but can't find any good images for reference. And it also looks like the spacers they use are flipped top to bottom. It's not unusable but it might throw off steering geometry.

I have this carbon fiber chassie and it works fine for me
This looks less like a conversion kit and more like an entirely different kit that just uses some donor parts.

I have the same chassis with aluminum lower/upper rear/front control arms. She handles great 💪🏾💯
How about the original TT01 front and rear differential it will fit inside the gearbox?

My man said he built 2 TT-01 chassis 😅 That's when you know these cars are beast when modified and tuned.

That chassis is worth it with aftermarket parts and some tuning.
If you are going brushless start with the drivetrain

I just rebuilt the steering and installed the electronics yesterday. Here's a picture of the steering assembly.

Thanks for warning us about the issues with this one.
I bought the same car. Was just looking at putting electronics in and it looks like I have to tear the car apart to put a motor in??? WTF???
Is it good for rally rc ?
Its good product ?
Chassis - last s is silent.
You do know when u buy this chassis they tell you it’s not a tto1-2’they make sure they buyer knows but it’s not bad
I tried to make it work but at the end of the day I couldn't recommend anybody buying this.
I'm not using mine for racing plus I got alot of upgrades on the way for it
Get a old tc4 and get the digity designs chassis and upgrades and i put 3s through a 6.5t speed Passion and get 70mph
And still great handling
At least yours showed up lol
I have one on the way exactly the same one
ne ho uno uguale e va benissimo sia per drift che per speed run👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
