Driving my 2010 13 years later and still holding up great. Rusty rockers but that's what happens to cars with plastic rocker covers in salty areas.
Can't complain about that

Plug and play. Makes it very easy to install
I heard that the majority of these Gen 9s were sold fleet.

@ lawson's Car Review u said they are flowmaster 44 mufflers how much does the chrome tips come out are they about three inch tips or what and u haven't had a delete or anything to resonator or anything right?
I did delete the resonator before i even changed the mufflers. The tips come out maybe half an inch. I believe they are 3 inch or 3.5 inch tips. I forget because i've had my car almost 7 years at this point!

2013 LTZ ... Just purchased two blend door actuators at Auto Zone. $82.00. Said to be lifetime warranty though.
You will definitely need to do them again on that car

My goal is to get over 200k miles out of it. My Chevy lumina went about 250k
Mine is 2008, 143k, running like a champ. My friend has 2009, over 200k miles. Runs well.

Just got a 2012 LT last month with 29 thousand miles. It's helpful hearing from others reviews on how these hold up because my dad was hating GMs for so long after the late '70s, and it was a bit scary but I felt those Impalas we road on two road trips grew on me and so I chose based on that.
Hopefully it holds up for you. What cars does your dad like?
I own a 2013 with less than 60K on it. Love it like its my baby.

Great question. Probably the SS because it has more torque off the line. But on a roll race it would be close i think

Not as well as generation 4 and 5
To me the front wheel drive Impala is a Lumina called Impala.
Generation 4 and 5 are the 1960-1976.

Sure but the old gen also gets 5mpg and couldn't stop to save its life. It's just an evolution based on demand

What do you think a modern Tahoe or explorer get gas wise
Horrible gas, but that is not a like for like comparing. They can carry 6 it 7 people on a truck chasis

The one's that are still built on a truck frame.
Like my 03 Tahoe.
The modern one's are unibody SUV'S.
Like 2 car's put together.
The 4th and 5th generation Impala can seat 6 comfortable.
And floats down the road.
And again gets about the same gas mileage as a modern Tahoe Explorer or Yukon
Highway they get a lot better mileage than the older impala and have more useable room. There's a reason they don't make cars like that anymore
