- WE RECENTLY VISITED A WORKING PLANTATION THAT HAS BEEN GROWING A VARIETY OF TROPICAL FRUITS, HERBS & SPICES FOR OVER 250 YEARS. WE LEARNT ABOUT THE ORGINS OF THE FOODS, AND SAMPLED THE FOODS AS WE EXPLORED THE FARM.

I'm surprised to see so many of the fruits/trees bearing at the same time. These are mostly seasonal crops.
This was a nostalgic walk down memory lane! I forgot that naseberry used to be picked as soon as it's fit then wrapped in newspaper and put in a drawer to ripen. Didn't realize back then that it was because of the bats. I remember all of these plants and picked all the fruits shown here as a child. Such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide!🙌🏿👏🏿👍🏿
R.I.P he died a few month ago shortly after we went there last year September. We also made a video. Greetings from germaican experience. Bless up❤
