    I am really glad I came across this, I also watch a local tropical fruit channel that I watch here in Jamaica, this will be a plus to me learning about new tropical fruits. Thanks a whole lot.

    EXACTLY like cloning 👌 The grafted top will be a spatially-(removed and relocated) piece of the mother plant - identical, like the mother plant exists and is now growing in more than one place. growing from seed can be amazing of course, but yeah, will be something new. Chempedak tastes like bubblegum ??!?! sounds extremely good 😋Cool video! Love from California 💗you guys have a beautiful climate! be well ! 🍊🍌🍍🥭🍑🥝🥑

    When is the best time to travel to Oahu for fruits? Also, do you know of any fruit tours available in Oahu?

    • @sister.sprouts
      @sister.sprouts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure of any fruit tours :( However if you trying to visit, it depends what kind of fruit you are looking for. For example lychee is spring, summer is mango, and fall is mamey sapote, and durian is winter. However summer is when more exotic fruits are in season (mangosteen, peanut butter fruit, plums, etc).

    Too bad they don't do tours anymore. The Abiu looks especially interesting.
    I sure would love to see you reply to some of the comments. It would help build a sense of community and make us feel a bit more connected. I mean, I appreciate the videos, for sure!! But the occasional reply - or just heart a few comments - would let us know you're reading these, if nothing else.
    I hope this isn't coming off as too sensitive, but audience interaction is powerful.

  • @punaforager

    Do you by chance know which chempedak that was in Frankie’s? he has more than a few I believe, and I have ‘Frankie’s round’ and ‘Sri gadeng’ which is orange inside like the one you both ate, but I’ve never seen how productive the tree is so I was wondering if that was it. Aloha from big island.
