Btw i love how that engine and turbo sits perfect litterally art work. Really looks clean how u can’t see a bunch of wires out too, i really hope to do something similar once i get the money for it🙏🏻
I used an 87mm rrc piston in my build by nippon which looks like what you have and I absolutely love them it’s my second set I also used some in 86mm on f23 block they are extremely close to if not better than OEM truly you will love them I expect quality is amazing
@@miguelportillo6591 Yes, f22 and K20 have the same wrist pin size (22mm) and it'll fit. The only difference is the piston height. RRC is 30mm vs 31mm. But should be no biggie coz of the dome that RRC has. It just will sit 0.020" below the block. It's really famous for F20b users aside from piston ht differences. If your'e using H22 cyl head, you wont have problem on piston relief hitting the valve unless you use a hi lift cams, clay the motor just to be sure. Thanks
@@robbyposey9128 yes, f22 is 85mm so as F20b piston. F20b piston will give you more comp ratio vs f22. Lots of f20b users use k20 piston. They have the block resize to 86mm, even though the piston ht is 1mm off, k20 piston compensate it w/ its dome and gives them the comp ratio they want.
@@jefferybissick891 You only have one choice w/c is Mahle piston. If you decide to use those, make sure your piston to wall clearance are good per manufacturer specs and also the ring gaps. Some are using Nippon Racing type S piston but the compression is too high that the engine wont last long when it comes to boost unless you use E85 for fuel.
@jefferybissick891 K24 is not compatible to H22 frm sleeve block. You'll have some issues, scoring on piston and sleeve. Unfortunately there's really not much of piston you can use on H22 w/ frm liner.
Hey I’m a big fan of your videos I’m building a g23 for boost I have a couple of questions I need to ask you do you have any social media I can contact you or email? 🙏

You'll turn your project something similar and probably even better than mine. Thanks man!

Okay and good to know someone have success using it. Thanks brother!
out of curiosity would those 87mm rrc pistons fit on a f22a1 block not to sure of the difference between these motors
I believe the f22 is 85mm so factory f20b pistons will work and it’s very close to the same compression

Good work. Did u ever got any issues with the water pipe i see u never got it weld.
The hose was really on there and so far no issue.
The ticking noise is my concern and l sure like to find out if its the piston or something on the cyl head. It wasnt sound like it when it was NA
I meant nippon racing brand pistons
Yes, it's Nippon racing brand, its the legit parts.
@@sagittnet2158part number?
What is the model number for those pistons?
Nippon racing only offer 1 turbo piston for K20. I got these from Swapshopracing.com
@@sagittnet2158 awesome thanks
@@cruzy251988 no worries!
I've seen multiple methods of plug sealing, but how is that Head Plug done? Looks like JB Weld?

Link on how l plugged the cyl head using water plug and good sealant (mega grey) same as Hondabond sealant.
Kuya why you have coolant in youre block?
Hindi ko na drained fully ang coolant. May natira sa cylinder head.
Wat bran piston r those ?
They are made by Nippon Racing and it's for K20a2. Type S piston and now l'm using K20 Turbo piston.
