    She wanted a baby and when the husband couldn’t help her, she took advantage of the son. How sick and demented. This young man is so well spoken! So proud of him for being an advocate for others.

    What an amazing young man. Hold yourself proud Harrison. Many adults wouldn't have the tools to navigate this situation let alone a child and now a young man. You've taken it step further by using what you have learnt to teach others. Finding the wisdom in an experience is a humbling healing ❤ Well done

    I applaud Harrisons bravery. I pray that eventually he can have a loving relationship with his daughter. As someone who was groomed by her cousin, who was 8 years older, I've carried deep shame and self loathing most of my life. I'm 66 and still blame myself. My parents disowned me, I was pregnant and apart from him, alone. We had to go to court for permission to marry. I divorced him 12 years later.

    This reminds me of the story of Mary Kay Letourneau, the teacher who groomed her student Vili Fualaau in the USA. I think he was 13 or 14 when they started their “relationship” and same story. He was so manipulated that they even got married. It’s was at a time where the knowledge nor comprehension we have today so he wasn’t able to understand what was truly happening. But in their last interview together before she passed away we can see that there was something off. He contradicted her many times, at moments he reacted with rolling eyes or with a smirk when he disagreed with the story about how all started. We could feel that he came into realization that it was an abuse. She had cancer at that moment so it’s easy to understand that he was still with her for obvious reasons but the tension was palpable. She was always monopolizing the conversation with the host preventing him to speak. She was talking about the great love they still had for one another while he was like: that’s BS. I understood while watching the interview that now as an adult and father of teenagers he came to the understanding that he was a child and that he was groomed but got it very late. Shout out for this young man sharing his story, his strength and intelligence. I hope he’ll be able to reunite with her daughter and be the father he wants to be for her daughter. I wish him the best.

    • @lorrainedahler5423
      @lorrainedahler5423 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ my basic understanding is yes, through true confession & repentance (while living) there is forgiveness. God is a righteous judge. The Bible mentions only one unforgivable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (also called “the sin unto death”) in specific passages from Mark, Matthew, Luke..

      @@lorrainedahler5423 Thank you for responding and I don't mean to put you on the spot. I know God being God, can do anything and whatever He does is good but another question. If a person repents and God forgives doesn't that sometime mean that we are never punished for our sins? Thusly, some never suffer the consequences for what they have done. I know these are theological questions but even as a Christian, and I'm not saying this is right, I see people that I would like to see punished. I know it's not my job and I have a long way to go but sometimes one just wants to see some justice. Sorry for the rant.

      @
      not a rant, your points valid, and I too think the same at times, want to see the consequences of wrong doing in the Now! It seems unfair. God is good - but He is Just- all who enter His gates, will also need to give an account of the matters here on earth, how we lived. He will judge, and He decides what our final and eternal destiny will be or is. For some he will say “depart, I never knew you”! There are various levels of honour in Heaven is my understanding. It will be according to what we have done in his name here on earth. According to scripture, the gateway is narrow. None of us know with certainty, but we are given a chance to make it right before Him while on earth. After death, is too late.

Legally I think it would be very difficult for him to gain any kind of custody. I see a question as to the motive of his stepmother that wasn’t addressed in either parts of the interview, that I feel the need to mention. Was her plan always to have a child? Did her husband’s vasectomy push her to find another that could give her what she wanted? I find the timings of having the baby and the abuse ceasing very telling in this theory.

      @elizabethryan2217 “Failure to protect” from abuse is the legislation he would be guilty under where I am. That’s a child protection charge. It’s not always taken to criminal court, however, it is legal grounds for intrusive intervention in the family. As a biological parent, he owns the legal responsibility to protect or yes, he is a party to abuse and guilty of failure to protect from abuse. He has failed to be a protective and safe parent. As a result, he’s failed his son in every way.

    • @elizabethryan2217
      @elizabethryan2217 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @littleMissXeOBA hi 🙂 I'm not saying he didn't fail his son. Lots of parents fail their kids in lots of ways. And lots of parents are brokenhearted find out in later years that their kids were abused without their knowledge. That doesn't make them abusers themselves necessarily, although i know that people sometimes turn a blind eye. They *may* have been negligent, but in this case, I would say that's difficult to say until you hear the Dad's side of the story.
      People who know an abuser but don't know what they're up to are not necessarily negligent or abusive themselves.

    If the ages were reversed he would be locked up. And she would be compensated. Yet the abuser still wins cause she's got back to her mother country and he doesn't get to see his little girl grow up. Your step mother probably pimped you out, on your trip , got some cash and then disposed of you and your father. I have a fifteen year old and a ten year old, I can't imagine either of them being mature enough to wrap their head around what you've been through. Be patient , she will learn the truth one day , and hopefully be not to mentally affected by it all ...she will get to know and embrace the gem that you are.x.

    Why can't he get her? She'll be safe. She's not safe out there with this mother who commits such devastating abuse and pure evil on entire households. As well as the other abusers around her and goodness knows the rest of the company she keeps. What men she could be bringing home. That poor little girl needs to be saved and Harrison needs to follow his intuition telling him to go and collect her NOW. The little girl needs to be set free as Harry needed to be set free all those years ago. Please go and get her 😢

      @@AotearoaAnge he needs to discuss this with someone and meticulously plan this out. He knows where she lives. The first thing is getting the girl out of there. Then I think they would need to lay low somewhere remote for a while. This is if the dad really won't save the girl himself. Someone may need to pretend to be the girls buddy on a day out possibly a. But I'm sure the mother could be bribed with money being such a greedy monster.

      Without his father’s cooperation, he doesn’t have what it takes legally to get his daughter. I don’t know what you can’t understand about that. People can’t just go move children around from country to country without legal authority. It’s very strict.

    Your one amazing human!! Your little girl will be so proud to call you her daddy one day.
    Also I want to point out. Predators have age of preference, and maybe being 16 and getting older, the appeal for her wasn't there anymore. God forbid it happens when his little girl has sleepovers with her little friends, and she targets the boys involved as she would take every opportunity to get her claws on them.

I’m in the US, so I don’t know the laws over there, but there has to be some legal recourse for him to eventually be able to bring his daughter back, as the actual father of the child.

    As a daughter of a lifelong OMCG member I can relate to Brent in so many ways when it comes to the brutality of police, the judgement, the fact that I AM NOT A OMCG member but I don't get a chance to be treated like a human just like my father, uncle and many members/children and wives have purely because someone I love wears colours on his back.
    I hate that when I get pulled over for a RBT and my hand is shaking uncontrollably as I'm giving my licence over, I feel I'm trouble and I haven't done anything wrong, I feel scared in a police station where majority would feel safe but the hard truth is if your associated with a OMCG, related or are a member a police station is a very dangerous place to be. There is good and bad in all walks of life and I have been lucky to have grown up around some very staunch, hard men but those men have been some of the best men I've ever known. I know that if I was in danger and my choices were a cop or a crim/omcg I'd choose a crim every fuckn time alllll day cause they might wear a different set of colours then some of my family do but I know I'd be safer than I would with a copper.
    Good podcast Brent it was good to see something I've dealt with and have experienced brought out and spoken about

    Harrison you brought me to tears a few times. When you were talking about what your daughter meant to you I knew exactly what you meant. Im sorry you dont have the times with her to cherish mate. Im 38, I have a 2yr old daughter, i dont have the words to describe how amazing she is. But yeah youre doing great for only 24 and what youve overcome. Im not sure what you should do but I think there is a chance you should try reunite with her. Life is short and she will only be young once. But theres risks as well. Youre story has more to play out either way. Goodluck 🙏
