lol, everyone wears the damn bag wrong and then complain and turf it in the closet. don't try to put it on like a normal sling bag with the comms pocket on the top when on your back, it always sags that way and is uncomfortable with weight. instead put it on your chest with the comms pocket on top and then pull it towards your back under your arm and adjust strap from there. try it, and you will see.
@@FearlessLeaderB the other alternative is to install some d-rings on the pals webbing on each side of the handle and a snap hook on the end of the strap so you can carry as a shoulder bag, that's what I've done and I change the method of carry depending on what I'm doing with the bag.
oxseventyone why don’t you just do a video showing it since you’re an expert on how the bag is worn? He was wearing as it was shown on the 5.11 website. I keep seeing your comments everywhere on people’s videos basically calling them stupid...why don’t you try putting yourself out there?
@@ssiberian8614 sorry about the late reply, I did not see it until now. my response was due to many complaints on amazon, edc forums and many other places it all comes down to the design of the strap. I've owned the bag for quite a few years now and I can tell you it does not wear comfortably the way he is wearing it in the video, the only way is to wear it sideways with the comm pouch under your arm. my intention is not to call people stupid and if it comes across as such, my apologies. if you own a moab, before returning it, give my method a try, it's much more comfortable.
When you swing the bag around instead of bringing it over your shoulder to the front of you so it doesn’t smack you on the head bring it from underneath your right arm to your chest instead of the top bring it under your arm. That works very well
Nice review. The only thing is that I’m skinny and the strap keeps getting loose. Do you think the thick strap goes on the front or on your shoulder or is the little pouch that should go almost to your shoulder? When u reach for it (wearing it) U have to bring it forward from the bottom (right side) not over your shoulder.
You can not remove the sling strap, but using the 5.11 rush tier system you could still mount this to another bag. If that is the intent after removing the strap
Yeah understand on the price, the quality is not horrible however like some others. 5.11 is quite good with customer service as well. All that said yes thier prices are high only tend to buy when on sale.
