My two friends recently started playing HK bcs I told them it's really good game.
They are about 3 hours or so into the game so I ask them where are they and how do they like it. They were still in the very early parts of the game despite 3 hours of playing. (The middle of greenpath if I am correct) So I ask them what did they do that it took them so long, and one of them answers: "I dont know about viktor but I just stood in one place for like a half of an hour just bcs I wanted to listen to the background music." And viktor said: "Well, I simply kept dying a lot xD". That is literally a summary of HK imo.
Only half an hour of listening too music? I dodged and weived around hornet just too hear her theme. I did this for an hour.

This ambience could really fit into the anime “made in abyss”, it’s the perfect atmosphere for the mystery that is hidden far down below.
Fun fact: Kevin Penkin (the composer of made in abyss) and Christopher Larkin (composer of Hollow Knight) are both from Australia ~ they both make incredible music 🎶
