- Soundscapes, drones and other elements from the City of Tears. Relive the dark futility of the infection's grasp on a fallen kingdom with these soothing ambient tracks. Music was made with a variety of soundscapes and other rhythmic drones that were mixed and arranged to be dynamic yet as unobtrusive as possible.

Music was edited and lowpassed to get something more drone-ish for ambience.

We probably have enough footage from the quarantine and chill vids alone to do this tbh, between him repeatedly humming Cornifer's theme and the occasional 'no Myla's theme is the one that goes like this!'
A very soothing moment in Hollow Knight, especially after being in almost constant combat throughout the game.
reminds me of bloodborne ambience, it's so weird having a peaceful setting when you've spent the last 500 hours getting your shit kicked in by a fucking dog

@@hazzadoggo4659 I still have to get back to this game. I love it so much and have a lot done but I still have so much more to do. Such as the red carnival people, the soul tower, the watchers, the warrior souls, . . . XD. Too much to count. And even more that I only am slightly spoiled on due to video clips and thumbnails, and more I have no idea about.
@@PsychoDiesel48 trust me hollow knight has a lot to offer both fun and frustrating at the same time in some cases you have a lot to look forward to and also minor spoiler the carnival people are called the Grimm troupe I only say this cause it involves one of my favourite characters in hollow knight but I went off there you have lots to look forward to trust me

Over a year later and Rusty still delivering on the ambience. Sounds like ~someone's~ been getting even more creative with the audio mixing. Seriously though, it's fun to see all the ways rusty experiments and plays with the audio from hollow knight

When we play Hollow Knight, everything seems so exciting and energetic, but that makes some people forget just how ancient everything in the game is. It’s eras old and it’s been sitting here for years, peacefully, just like this video..

this place along with deepnest is in my opinon atleast the absoulute peak of this game.
Very calming. I did have 2 questions. Im doing a semi-no upgrade run, only allowing masks and vessels to be increased. Is this generally considered a difficult run to do? Am also considering a no map run after this one is finished.
If you play through the game enough you'll be doing a no map run every playthrough lol like it becomes stupid easy if you play the game alot trust me it's good to start out tho (:
