Hi, little tips I found : If you upscale one weight.png file to your desired size and delete all the other one, you open your map.i3D, save when you close it, all the weight files are going to spawn again but in the size of the one file you left in the folder. This made me save a lot of time :) (sorry for my english if it's not clear)

Hi brother, 1. Check your farmland that the fields are all on one farmland as well. 2. Delete the two unwanted fields and expand the remaining one to become the field in the blue (render field areas) 3. If you named your fields transforms into field1, field2 etc repair the name structure. 4. Save the map, then close the renderfields (with main field transform selected) otherwise it crash, then go to scripts, and select create groung colision map, wait till its done then save and test with a new save game. Those changes will not show on a old save.

@@sassa77 hi, there are 2 ways, 1st is a direct size up, so the whole map get scaled, the 2nd way is to keep the map and place it in the center of a blank large map. But both of tge are extremely time consuming as ur basically rebuilding the map. Bear in mind in the first option you cant scale the buildings as they will lose their perspective and will look strange. So only terrain is done then everything needs to be re-added.
Hi Jason, there is no terrain outside the map, when you are in the editor, click on terrain and it will highlight the terrain, that is it. Everything outside of that is just planes that has texture and objects on it. In future i am going to make a video on how to build distant planes for those distant hills etc inside blender and then import it into your map. But that is the process. It is not possible to make it in the editor. But if you watch my videos on the mapmaking course, i have shown easy ways of getting distant hills and things from other maps.
No worries brother, if you actually enlarge the map, yes everything need to be scaled to proportion. Everything physical like buildings roads etc cannot be scaled, those you need to rebuild. What you can do as i suggested in the editor under prefabs is an already built 4x flatmap. Use that as your base and just bring everything over, that way you will have the correct scaled infolayers and gdms etc. Then all you need to do is take 1 file at a time in the data folder go to the new map, for example convert the densityMap_fruits.gdm to .png using the grle converter tool from Giants. then you can see what size it is. Then convert that same file in your old map, resize it and replace the file in the new map ( remeber when you save the new file use 32bit for .png) then you need to open the new map i3d in notepad++ (make sure your map is closed) and find the reference to that file, change the extension to .png in this example .gdm to .png, save the notepad. You can leave this open for next steps and files. Then open your map in GE. Check that there are no errors in the log regarding your file. Save and close the map. Check in the data folder and a new densityMap_fruit.gdm will be there. Now simply delete the densityMap_fruit.png, then in the notepad rename it back to .gdm then save. This is the process for each file. You will find there might be some info layers that are not in the new map but they are in thebold map. Just ignore those. Your map_dem is the only file that is 1 pixel bigger than the normal size, but just follow the example. Oh one big problem when you enlarge a .png is the loss of quality, especially inside the .png where are edges between colors. The edges need to be sharp and clean. To check this zoom in close and check ie. On the edge of a field you should have a sharp clean edge, no blending. If there is blending it wont work. So when you resize the .png files (i use paint.net) in the options when you have selected resize, make sure you have nearest neigbour selected at resampling. Then save as 32bit. Once you have done all of them, finally open the map.i3d in GE and go to scripts, map, the select "create ground colision map" this will take a while, it will show ur editor is not responding, just leave it till its done. Then save the map, and ur done.
