Mt. St. Helens showed that rocks can form quickly under the right conditions. Sure, the human body can produce stones (kidney or gallstones) rapidly, pearls take a few years, and coal has its own unique formation process. Now here’s a challenge for you: prove that a human body of 33 trillion cells, each containing DNA with a combined length of 64 times the distance from Earth to the sun, can be made from a figurine of clay with just a puff of breath-in one single day. But when I started studying nature, digging, exploring, probing, gazing through microscopes and telescopes, I rejected the idea and lost my faith. The universe is far too vast, too old, and life far too complex to be made by anyone, however intelligent, powerful, or long-lived they might be."
Wow, okay. The Big Bang is just an unfortunate nickname that was slapped onto the cosmological model. The Big Bang was not big, and did not make a 'bang' sound. It's simply refers to the initial expansion of the observable universe, an expansion scientists can measure today, along with the cosmic microwave background and other evidence. All relevant observable evidence, mathematics, and physics, demonstrate that the Universe once existed in a hot, dense state, then expanded. That's what the evidence demonstrates, so that's what scientists must go with. There are problems with the big bang model, as there are with many scientific models, but it is the model with the most supporting evidence so far. Back in the day, when the model was first proposed by a Christian physicist, a lot of atheists were opposed to it because it implies the universe had a beginning, rather than existing eternally. There you go:-). The Big Bang cosmological model is not your enemy, many Christians are really into it, and who knows, maybe a god caused the Big Bang.

If anyone wants to know the real science, here is a good description from Opal Galaxy *Australian Opal* Australian Opal forms through a chemical reaction involving silicon dioxide and water. As water runs down through the Earth, it picks up silica from sandstone and carries this silica-rich solution into cracks and voids caused by natural faults or decomposing fossils. As the water evaporates, it leaves behind a silica deposit. These deposits have formed a shiny rock appearance with different colors and patterns that people refer to as Opals. They are found in ironstone rocks, sandstone rocks, and sometimes in fossils of pre-historic animals such as dinosaurs, bugs, wood (tree roots, etc.), and even in shells. It takes about 5 to 6 million years to make a 1 cm opal to mature. Opals were formed in Australia from a giant inland lake that once covered what is now the Australian desert. *Hydrophane Opals* Many opals mined in Ethiopia, especially from the Welo deposits, are hydrophane. The term “Hydrophane” describes a porous opal with the ability to absorb water. A change in color or transparency often accompanies the water absorption. This reaction occurs due to volcanic rock deposits and lava within the volcanic region of Ethiopia, differing significantly from the formation process of Australian Opals
@@BmoreGrrrrl "It takes about 5 to 6 million years to make a 1cm opal to mature." That isn't science, it's mythology. There is no way to experimentally demonstrate that is how much time it actually takes. That mythology defies natural laws of physics. 5 to 6 million years would (at a minimum) completely vanquish coast lines with erosion.
@@BmoreGrrrrl " It takes about 5 to 6 million years to make a 1 cm opal to mature" is not so simple or just so, all of a sudden. Just like diamonds and so on.
*Even if you could synthetically manufacture opals quickly, doesn't prove they happened quickly in Nature. And even is they happened quickly in nature, it doesn't prove a worldwide flood did it. 95% percent of Opal is in very small isolated areas of 4 countries, Australia, Ethiopia, Brazil and Mexico. If a flood did it they would be prolific. And Opal being able to happen quickly doesn't disprove radiometric dating!*
We need to remember that of course it would be possible to God to create opals and diamonds and coal without process. Just like human is created from scratch. From sand...
What you need to do is question this nonsense, these fairy tales (and one day you will...). A human body of 33 trillion cells, each containing DNA with a combined length of 64 times the distance from Earth to the sun, can be made from a figurine of clay with just a puff of breath-in one single day. I'm not entirely sure what your question implies or the motivation behind it, but the idea of choosing belief isn't something I find feasible. Belief, after all, isn’t a matter of choice-it's the result of evidence, reasoning, and personal conviction. Having been a Christian for most of my life, I came to the conclusion that not only does God not exist, but logically, He cannot exist. This realization allowed me to reassess the Bible more objectively, and I can now say with conviction: even if the God of the Bible were real, I would never serve such a being. The character depicted in its pages doesn't align with any conception of justice, love, or morality I could respect-even if rejecting Him would mean eternal consequences.
@@pekde same to you! And remember, if you (think you) need a god in your life to cope with life and life's challenges, so be it. Or better yet, don't, if you want to stay in the faith. When I started doing that I lost my faith, since what I was reading was not what I was taught.

Opals are fascinating and complex, but they’re nowhere near as intricate as the systems that make up life, let alone an entire cosmos. This kind of argument might sound impressive on the surface, but it’s just another leap of logic that falls apart under scrutiny.
You literally just explained why special creation by God is the best explaination for life.
@@mike300rum @mike300rum: did you actually read my reaction? You seriously think a human being of over 33 trillion unique cells, with DNA spanning the distance of the earth to the sun 64 times - not to mention the even bigger number of bacteria in your body- is actually made from a figurine of clay where some deity puffed breath in? Especially since we're not made of silicon but of carbon.. Go on, keep believing in Fairy Tales, apparently you're inclined to do so.
He was doing a great job until @06:40 ...using "global". The Earth is not, never has been, never will be a globular system or object.

mt st helens proved the rocks can for in a short time. the human body can make stones in a short time, pearls are made in a few years. and so on. coal and othere things formation stories are a crock.
Mt. St. Helens showed that rocks can form quickly under the right conditions. Sure, the human body can produce stones (kidney or gallstones) rapidly, pearls take a few years, and coal has its own unique formation process. But none of these examples prove what you’re implying-that the Earth is young or that complex systems like the human body can be created in an instant.
Now here’s a challenge for you: prove that a human body of 33 trillion cells, each containing DNA with a combined length of 64 times the distance from Earth to the sun, can be made from a figurine of clay with just a puff of breath-in one single day.
This reminds me of something I’ve observed:
"When I went outside in nature and looked at the amazing world-the sun, moon, stars, and all its beauty-I started to believe in a god who must have made it all. But when I started studying nature, digging, exploring, probing, gazing through microscopes and telescopes, I rejected the idea and lost my faith. The universe is far too vast, too old, and life far too complex to be made by anyone, however intelligent, powerful, or long-lived they might be."
Imagine having such an over the top faith and belief that a meth lab blew up or 36 sticks of dynamite and HERE WE ARE! Big ah Bang!!
It would annoy me every time when the Discovery channel would cram a "millions of years to make opals" false statement in every scene of their "Outback Opals" show! Totally trying hard to brainwash their audience! I don't agree with the tactic!

If anyone wants to know the real science, here is a good description from Opal Galaxy
*Australian Opal*
Australian Opal forms through a chemical reaction involving silicon dioxide and water.
*Hydrophane Opals*
Many opals mined in Ethiopia, especially from the Welo deposits, are hydrophane. The term “Hydrophane” describes a porous opal with the ability to absorb water. A change in color or transparency often accompanies the water absorption. This reaction occurs due to volcanic rock deposits and lava within the volcanic region of Ethiopia, differing significantly from the formation process of Australian Opals
And yet one man was able to create opals via a rapid process.
@@anaquaduck5252 So? Why would anyone be slow enough to think that means all opals were created that way?
@@BmoreGrrrrl
"It takes about 5 to 6 million years to make a 1cm opal to mature."
That isn't science, it's mythology.
@theGuideMarkII so you think randomness and coincidence is a better solution?
@theGuideMarkII or then you understand only later. Best of luck!
@@pekde same to you! And remember, if you (think you) need a god in your life to cope with life and life's challenges, so be it. As long as it is your choice and your choice alone, and not based on false information and false assumptions. My only advise: read the Bible really, really well. A false analogy occurs when someone draws an unjustified conclusion by comparing two things that are not similar or relevant.

Here is more information from a company The Opal Dealer which manufactures synthetic opals
How Lab Created Opal is Made
Synthetic opal, also known as lab-created or man-made opal, is created through a controlled process that replicates the natural formation of opal. Our Lab created opal is known for its vivid colors and patterns.
*While synthetic opal may have a similar appearance to natural opal, it's important to note that there are differences in terms of composition, structure, and value.* Synthetic opals can offer an affordable and environmentally friendly alternative to natural opals.
Also do not forget to consider that not all synthetic opal is created equally and may have different purposes. For example, our lab opal products are stabilized with polymer making it perfect for ring making and jewelry creations because it is less prone to cracking and crazing unlike natural opal. Polymer is a great stabilizer for this reasoning but it cannot be used in projects that require high levels of heat such as glassblowing.
