This game needs more trailers like this. Also GW2 has one of the best representation of dragons in any game in my opinion, they really know how to capture and share the immense power of such an awesome creature.

All characters in GW2 do not come close to the dragon aspects in WoW.
@@khyun125-o6j the dragon aspect were cool. In df not so. To each their own but the dragon aspect is like a bunch of kids who can turn into a dragon. When it comes to dragons wow is the disney out of the two.

I think best trailer is still long live the lich in my opinion. I still watch it to this day from time to time

@@--Adam yeah I get what you mean, it feels like that to me too. Maybe long live the lich has more sentimental value to me since I was hardcore into GW2 back then but I don't play it anymore, just checking out some trailers to see how it's going

@@MrHawkelement what are you smoking? Has everything to do with the story?!?! A big part of it actually, we had to help with the speakers and the jade bot uprising, it was a dark time for the capital city and it’s law enforcement.
@@NatEff3ct It showed the characters in a fight that never happened (Yao and Rama on a rooftop) and showed the usual trailer-dragon/monster that anet always uses.
A list of things not in this trailer: Joon, Aetherblades, Soo-Won (in any way other than ominous eyes and voice).
Idk how you view that as a huge part of the story. We dealt with jade tech going haywire for like an instance or 2. The rest was Aetherblades or Joon speaking or Soo-Won.
@@NatEff3ct Also, this might be a tangent but how did you figure the Speakers were a pivotal part of the story either...? They have 1 heart quest. lmao. You can skip it too. They literally don't impact anything. That organization could be removed and the plot wouldn't change.
Like Arcane... We "NEED" an animated series out of this. The last scene carries the same intimidation that Kralky had.

More trailers in this style please! Thanks! Also, have not played in literal YEARS but I started back again last week after play New World on and off for the last couple months. I must say that taking such a long break to play different games throughout the years made me realize how solid GW2 is. I'm so glad to be back, I regret that I stopped playing then. The community, the story, the horizontal progression is unlike anything else I've played in the 12+ years of playing MMORPG. I am comparing the lore and vanity items in GW2 to Destiny 2 and Lost Ark. Action packed combat similar to an arcade game feel but you have to be more strategic in GW2. LOVE IT!

This must have been outsourced to Fortiche, the french animation studio that animated Arcane and most of Riots cinematics, it's really awesome seeing it in GW2 :D
Funny to me, that this comment section is only one of two extremes. Either "Awesome trailer, wow" or "This trailer was a mistake, by god." Hardly any opinions in between.

Cantha (Kaineng specifically) was my favorite in GW1, and I wanted it for GW2 for years; but I also stopped playing GW2 half a decade ago. I don't know 😟

The guy looks so much like Marcus from Arcane (granted Marcus already looks kind of like nondescript Asian male). The outfit colors and artstyle of this trailer definitely contribute.

Pretty sure it was just a Void Corrupted Soo-Won. She's probably depicted a bit differently in the trailer to avoid spoiling her reveal in-game.
@@ricketysticks You are correct it was soo-won and I only got confused because the camera was straight down her snout making the face look more flat. I concur they probly just made it green ( due to the jade) and didn't want her to be all Voided out because that would have been major spoilers.

Eh, how is kralk both green and still alive? Same head shape, same scream, same general size, and only 1 head, that's either kralk or the sea dragon took some inspiration.
Well, Kralk did say "Mother" before his death.
They've used this shadowy dragon in HoT trailers before too. Like, everyone fixated on this enemy that never has/will appear in the game. It's genuinely funny.
