This MMO catched my soul. It is my daily heroic moment. The endless fight against the dragons! Questing, hunting, crafting, farming, and it's never to easy. Every fight is a new challenge. So many possibilities to fight with just one class! The powerfull company my guild give me... Me and my friends against the evil of the world. Month for moth new content, new storys, new enemies, new armor, new weapons... I LOVE GUILD WARS 2!
After years of new mmorpgs coming out, there's still none of them creating races that are distinctive and unique enough like GW2.
the original forsaken world, they have vampires, stone titans, dwarf people, animal people, etc. Dont get me wrong, i love gw2 but i can find some mmos with the same number of races or more that are distinctive and unique enough
I'm so hopelessly addicted to this game. I don't normally play mmo's but damn, this is one hell of a game.

seriously my fav. mmorpg. the lore, the art, the game play all of it has heart and soul. Something that alot of games lack. It just takes my breathe away with its innovation. GW2 forever.
I think wow lore is better but all other ways gw2 wins

I have to admit, having played WoW as long as I did then coming to Guild Wars 2 I honestly was overwhelmed with a sense of culture shock. It was as it this MMO took everything that lacked from others and made a perfect game. I've been hooked on GW2 since I started and I'm loving every second of it.

This video is just amazing, almost the entire thing is done using in game elements and graphics, no pre-rendered cinematics! So in awed of it!
So many years later and I will love this game. Just finished season 4 and I cannot wait to see where the game will take us next. =)

The only MMO that i've bothered with following the storyline and actually level'd crafting. Best MMO in the market imo.
I get bored of games very easily and I'm happy to say this is the only game I've been able to play every day for an extended period of time in years. I had tried Guild Wars 2 before, and couldn't get into it but for some reason this time it just clicked. Just got my first 80 yesterday. :D
i am glad you play this game , iv had the same experience and it didint click cuz at that time i was used to certain way of playing mmos and guild wars was so different , but as i tries it for the second time i couldnt stop been playing for 2 years and i have 11 charactera and i love the community and i am in love wirh the game !

No matter how many years it has been, I still absolutely adore this game!
The only game series I have ever installed first before anything else on any new laptop or PC I ever owned. For 15 years.
DAMN... dragons in this game look HUGE.

All the drgaons you saw except that last one are just champions even, The really huge elder dragons are on an entirely different scale
Wicked Minish and primordus is another class compared to thhe other elder dragons we have seen ^^
And Kralkatorrik is much larger than the Elder Dragon shown in this trailer (Zhaitan).
400+ hours over the 96 days
Finally a game that makes me addicted, took too long.

Guild Wars 2 Is an Awesome MMORPG Easily my Favorite Game and I recommend it for people looking for a Challenge or just to have Fun.

Living World season 3 just started.... There is new Content, you can enjoy.

What I see is a(the) Guardian!! The one who protects everyone.
You two have very distinct ideas of what skill means..and none of them are wrong.I had much less success doing PvP in GW2 than I did in WoW because it requires me to plan my very limited load-out before knowing what I'm up against, reacting appropriately, accurately and be mindful of my surroundings and resources.You can compensate in WoW by getting more powerful items; so it's an easier concept to grasp despite its multitude of subtleties in planning and reaction.Two games, different execution.

No MMO has made me care about the world and characters in the game as much as this game. Thank you ArenaNet for changing the genre and redefining what an MMO is and what an MMO can do. Thank you for the constant flow of new and exiting content we can sink our teeth into and talk about for months after it is over. Guild Wars 2 is by far my favorite gaming experience to date. So congrats on a successful first year and hopes that the game will continue to be successful for years and years to come.

@@far4955 Begin at Tier one. Then it is not more difficult as story and open world content.
The 3:32 guardian is probably a combination of stand your ground for stability and shield skill 5. In this case its not meant to block, just look cool

I find kind of funny that in minute 2:57, we have the Fire infused cultist char, and then we have this guy like: "IT JUST NEED A LITTLE BIT MORE FIRE!" *attacks with a flamethrower*

Guild Wars 2... THIS ! IS ! THE ! GAME ! that every gamer should see! I enjoy every time I play it, it is like this company was inside of my head and found what I love about games...
I also play world of warcraft for 9 years already and ofcoarse wow is greatest mmo and it gives me a LOT of fun but I respect other games as well but I never feel that games that I respect give me the same in answer of my greatfulness and than I found this game GUILD WARS 2 and its like created for me to make me enjoy sitting and playing it ! THANKS ArenaNET
You do, and are. They even admitted that the battle with Zaitan was basically rushed out the door unfinished at the last minute to meet their deadline. They also added that they are taking a hard look at it, and seeing what they can do to make it live up to expectations.

of course, for trailers must be more "cinematical" but its pretty much how it is in game and I just love it :'D

My first time playing GW2 was April 2012 beta. Preordered the game, did head start and been playing since! Congrats Anet on your masterpiece.

Guildwars 2 is an amazing game, and I'm glad this awesome video was made to capture parts of it. I've been playing this game since beta and it still kicks just as much ass as before! Guildwars 2 for life!
Man, this gave me the goosebumps all over again... Even when I've been playing since betas. Especially the wvw and some of the if boss PvE parts. Can't wait for the next patch too.
Seeing that trailer now remembers me of my first real jaw drop moment, when the shatterer landed in front of my character the first time.. The second one was realizing that he is only the "champion" of the real thread. Still such an awesome game

What I like most about their trailers is that they are all actual ingame footage, not some animated movie to look good.
are you kidding? the game is still going strong, i was very active on there for 5 months, then took a break, but thats the beauty of free to play, you can always log in later and have an adventure! i've been logging in quite alot over the passed month and loving it.
You fight him in the sylvari opening quest, like the humans fight the earth elemental, asura fight a golem, norn fight an ice wurm, and charr fight the ghost statue. It is the embodiment of the nightmare corruption within the dream. Many people have theorized that he's a minion of mordremoth, the jungle dragon, but Anet has yet to confirm that.

very nice. you know, after a year of playing I'm currently gathering a group of friends to confront Zhaitan. I didn't want this to be a rush through storymode and instead take my time to really enjoy the final to my personal story, so I kind of hold it up until now, making the attack (presumably) tomorrow my first time doing Arah EVER - so, nice timing with this video :D thanks Arenanet, now I'm getting impatient to start xD
In the year of gameplay since launch this game has captivated me. The reward's have been immense, and the impact one player can have on the world in all aspects of the game, PvE, WvWvW, and PvP makes it feel like your character truly matters. With new content coming out every 2 weeks that build off each other and give power to the players GW2 has given me the best gaming experience of my life. However in all the time I've played i have but one complaint. WHEN DO WE SEE THE OTHER ELDER DRAGONS!?!

He's from the Cliffside Fractal in Fractals of the Mists, where you have to destroy the seals with the hammer. You don't fight him, you save him.
To this day love how Zojja's line is completely unrelated to what everyone else is referring to
Now if we can only get cutscenes and cinematics of this caliber in-game we would be set! Amazing trailer though, I can only imagine what this looks like to someone who has never played the game. Coolest thing is, other than some fancied up camera angles, what's in this video is pretty much what the game is going to look like as you play.

best endgame run yet imo, i was happily surprised when I got there last year :)
Best game i've ever played. Thousands of hours clocked up now and i'm still loving every minute of it. Best £65 ive ever spent and never regretted it, do yourself a favour and buy this game if you havent already.
This game can only be described with one word: Perfection.

One of the reasons that make this game great is that it does not force you into itself - like WoW's grinding does. You can play an hour a day and still feel you are improving big time - while in other games best you can do in an hour is see yourself 10% XP up.
After I got The Moot for Taerima, I have barely been playing for max 8 hours a week and I still improve big time. I love games that do not impose themselves on you, cause REAL LIFE Matters!!!

ive been playing since the release and watching this video reminds me of the experience of each of those events and how i felt the first time i encountered them ... im so proud to be a part of this game . :)

Regardless of what all the people paying Subscription fees for other MMO's, Guild wars 2 is epic and the best MMO ever made. And to think Arenanet spoils all of us that are loyal to GW2 and add constant content and updates to an already great game not to mention very challenging content.Kudo's to Arenanet for an awesome game.

Yeah I had to double check that. Wooden Potatoes did a video on lore that had speculation about a possible sixth elder dragon. Mordremoth, the Jungle Dragon. I thought the trailer was a glimpse but then I remembered the Sylvari storyline

Yeah it's easy to get jaded after playing those events a few hundred times, but that first time or two you do it, epic feeling. Watching this does remind me of it and I'm hoping for some new large epic content soon to feel that way about again.
