Im 58 now and my son is now 24 and it took me ages when he was liitle to realise that it was ok for the time he was at nursery or school to go out and do stuff for myself or like you shop at the packaging free shop etc without feeling guilty that I wasnt at home doing chores. When he came home we then did the chores together like the washing, preparing dinner, hoovering and cleaning plus gardening and he loved it. Hes also really good at taking care of himself now hes an excellent cook and tackles everthing without worry. So please never feel guilty about doing stuff for yourself or shopping alone. Yes it takes longer with kids helping u do your housework but it can be so much fun and beneficial to your child. I promise. Go for it. Cant wait to be a nanny now! Love your vlogs i loved having a small child so much. Xx

Thank you for talking about vitamin D. I've been feeling emotionally low lately and couldn't figure out why. But now I'm thinking that I might be a little low in vitamin D. And if anyone is looking for reusable grocery/produce bags I suggest looking around the etsy website. A lot of the shops are small businesses and you also have to option of buying within your own state and sometimes city.

Don’t be afraid of getting a “granny trolley” or “trundle trolley” as we call them in Australia. They’re those personal fabric/vinyl shopping trolleys that you can drag behind you on wheels. You can buy LOADS and it’s no strain to pull it! Saves your back/shoulders big time! :)

My favourite milk alternative is the Oatly Batista blend in the grey carton; that's the only type of Oatly i like as it is by far the creamiest/tastiest. Try that one, most supermarkets don't sell it but i think ocado has it and loads of small shops do it. Hard to come by but it's so worth it; unlike any other milk alternative.
I also get the “January Blues” and I too have found Vitamin D incredibly helpful. I also have a light that is meant to help stimulate your brain to think it is getting sunlight. I find it works a treat!! I sleep better, have more energy, and just feel so much more like my “summer self”. I also walk my dog for often over an hour and it works. I am so glad you mentioned your struggles, it reminds me that I am not the only one affected by this and to be even more considerate of others in my life who also suffer from it too. Your excitement over the packaging free items in that lovely shop is so familiar. I get so excited going to our local bulk food store and using all my reusable bags and containers. idk if it's available in the UK but I really like the almond breeze hint of honey vanilla almond milk in coffee, somehow the honey makes it taste creamy in coffee?? if not, any us viewers reading this...highly recommend!
have you tried almond breeze's barista blend? 😱it's only sold online, but it's SO good! so creamy, well worth the hassle...i once ordered a box of 10 and used them up for a couple months 😂

Astonish stain remover is great and they don't animal test. Or you can buy the astonish soap which is amazing, lasts forever comes in card board and is less waste.

I absolutely adore my backpack from Matt & Natt, when I bought It i didn't even realize they brand was vegan, cause the "leather" is such good quality. The design also really follows the shape of your back which really helped against the aches I had with my previous backpack

I've had the same issue with milk in my tea, tried every thing but hated all of it. Just recently tried brown rice milk and it's actually pleasant and drinkable in tea - although the colour isn't right but try to ignore that. Fortunately I prefer my coffee black!
I really hope this doesn't sound too odd but I just love the sound of Delilahs voice :) It just makes me so happy and her voice reminds me so much of one of the kids in my day care who's half British. They make special straps now, that you pop on the original ones - cause the originals just hurt if you wear it in summer on bare skin. The pop on ones are perfect. It holds ALOT of stuff, I am always suprised. And so durable. It is such a good backpack. I think you will like it :) so good you are going to zero waste! ♡

I don’t know why but there’s a definite taste difference! They have a product called Food Heaven Cafè Soya iced latte too which is delicious 🤤

i recommend Almond Breeze's Barista Blend, Rhiannon! it's a bit of a bugger to find - it's only sold to cafes usually, but you can find some online stores that will deliver it to you - it is SCARY close to cow's milk, i always think they've made a mistake at cafes that use it 😂 it's in cafes all over Australia, revolutionary stuff 👌

Disclaimer I’m totally not trying to attack or anything but I’m just curious as to what you’d do if Delilah told you she didn’t want to be in the vlogs when she was older, and she didn’t want to have her videos on the internet. Would you take them down and not vlog anymore or would you vlog without her in it or would you just keep on vlogging like normal? Totally just curious. I love your vlogs and you really inspire me to take the small steps to achieve my goals.
If she didn’t want to be in the vlogs, of course I wouldn’t force her. If she wanted the old vlogs down, they’d all be privatised. It’s her choice and respecting that is the most important thing ☺️
Between doing the daily vlogs every other month I usually slow down the uploads to recharge my batteries. This month I’m working on other projects behind the scenes which is why I’m not doing Feb Vlogs, I’ll be back with VEDA in April but still uploading vlogs between them. So no, not part time necessarily :)

Oatmilk is my go-to for coffee. It doesn't feel like a compromise. It is absolutely delicious. Try Oatly brand or the Silk one is good.

Almond milk uses thousands of litres of water during processing so it's not really a better environmental choice.
Almond milk creates a 10th of the carbon footprint than cow's milk, any difference is a good difference.

When I feel a headache coming on I rub White Tiger Balm into my forehead and temple's & it helps x
