Yes John's voice has stoodbthebtest of time. Last time he performed was 2020 and his voice was almost just as strong and he was still singing in the same key as he did whennhe was younger. The good news is that his voice was not affected by the cancer but I doubt he will perform publically again. But as his son said recently...you just never know!!!❤❤ This is also my favourite concert of John's. My favourite song from this concert is All Our Sons and Daughters. Probably his most hard rock song but it is delivering a hard message so needed to be.

I love the backing vocal arrangement on this song. John released a live album "Full House" that included excerpts from the "Chain Reaction" tour and from a previous tour. This particular live album had his rockiest hots from 1987 onwards. He did release another live album later on (Anthology 2:1967 -1985) but it was mostly easy listening, but still great vocals.

Some other great ones from John and co are John’s version of the Beatles version of “help” the one with the Melbourne symphony orchestra was great, also live in Melbourne 1990 John does the Beatles version filled by his version which was incredible. Also “don’t let it end” a duo with Lisa Edwards is another great one. “Chain reaction, playing to win, the live version of “when there’s something wrong with my baby”, “black dog” by Led Zeppelin which is only on audio, it was a sound check, John used it as a warm up track and someone happened to hit record, it’s epic. There’s over 50 years of this great man’s music so there’s heaps out there.

I loved “Finding The Voice”. Something I noticed in it was that David Hirschfelder has aged like fine wine. He’s much more handsome now than back then. He also told some interesting back stories that we didn’t know before.
