I really like how the novels highlight how simply letting Aizen talk is dangerous. Even without his Zanpakuto and his overwhelming strength, his mind and ability to get under someone's skin, is chilling. He really is a fantastic character!

I think Aizen has certainly knew the Hell will sooner or later break loose. If that's the case it's not surprising he didn't mind going back to Muken. Considering his original plan didn't work and the fact he's now immortal he might have just decided to wait. He's got all time in the world.

I've always believed that Aizen's bankai is something like Soi Fon's. Something that doesn't really work with him. My belief is that since his Shikai allows Aizen to shift the sense of reality, that his bankai shows Aizen a true reality, which is how he was able to understand what the soul king truly was

I don't think of Aizen as a villain....more of a antagonist. Because in his doing is no evil nature. He has his own understanding of this world and seeks the highest. In combination with his calm personality he is one my absolute favourite characters in anime

If there's no Aizen, either as a supporting character or the main villain, Bleach wouldn't feel the same.
I always felt like the people in Bleach were idiots. They basically allowed someone like Aizen to do the things he did because there were no checks and balances. There was no way for someone like Kisuke to even have a chance to expose Aizen because Central 46 would not even consider investigating further. I feel like maybe they’re starting to learn their lesson now and who knows how they will evolve when Aizen’s sentence is up.

That's what I got out of the SS arc tho, they're a bureaucratic society controlled by blood lines. It's partially them having no checks n balances, but also a bunch of royalty who only follow the rules books and exercise no personal judgement which is why they were so ready to execute Rukia.

Zero chance the Gotei 13 could've subdued Aizen. He definitely went with them of his own volition. Even Yhwach couldn't manage more than incapacitating the dude for a few moments. I'm sure he *could* eventually have found a way to permanently kill Aizen, but he himself admitted that would take time - time he did not have.

It isn't broken lol, it is sealed which limits its capabilities.
Besides, Aizen while sealed is already stated to be stronger than before, I'd imagine a fully unsealed Aizen 20,000 years into the future would be considerably more powerful even without the Hōgyoku.
He could very well create his own world somewhere in the Garganta, likely by repurposing a kogyoku that already exists, similar to how he created the caja negación.

Nobody knows what happened to Aizen it's just stated "Aizen disappeared after Yhwach's defeated" and this caused a spiritual imbalance between Hell & The Soul Society
It’s said he “went missing” during Ukitake’s funeral/sending him to hell.
Considering what happened with Yhwach and Ichigo, I imagine Aizen is a changed man in multiple ways and hopefully for the better.
I think that if they bring the manga/story back then they’ll end their new future arc with Aizen taking the place of the Soul King considering their shared immortality and similar appearance post-hogyoku transformation.
Dude probably went back to his chair knowing no one can either kill or remove him from reality. He knows he basically owns soul society. And thats all he wanted, not power, not wealth, just the satisfaction of obtaining his desires which is owning the terms in which he will exist.
I always wished that Aizen would amass so much Reiryoku to use Bankai to revert the worlds back into the past and we get a Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood version of Bleach with Ichigo feeling De Ja Vu as he relives a familar story.

Aizen gets out of Muken 20k years later. The world is again in a still stand, no life, no death. Aizen appears to other "powerful individuals" that are fighting against a massive Hollow. Aizen defeats it. Is praised as a God and called Soul King. Then, because of his 20k years of prison time, he changed and accepts to be used to create a different world and split the current world into 3.
Now we know how Soul King came to be and why Aizen looks like him.
It's just a never ending cycle of repeating hystory.

@@porandojin5751 quite a few soul reapers retired. For example, Marechiyo's father who was the former captain of the stealth group before Soi Fon and Yoruichi, is now a business tycoon. You only get sent to Maggot's nest if you have the plan to overthrow/do acts of terrorism at Soul Society.

Kubo screwed the finish. He knew he had X amount of issues to wrap it up. A date was set. They even let him go past it. He was busy drawing meaningless pages for months about fighting a giant viking or some equally irrelevant side character that adds absolutely nothing
