I have been saying that Lord Rase’s master is a new character because every other opinion would be very hard to explain or just be reusing things from the original series.
I would be really surprised if it was anyone other than the source dragon of strength. It's an earth type looking one. And Ras uses weapons we would mostly associate with an elemental master of earth. Not saying he is an elemental master though. But he is obsessed with strength. The strength dragon also appears to be quite a haughty individual.

I have to admit alot of this video didn't make sense and was kind of stupid. Let me break it all down: You're right on the Overlord, he came back too recently, but also, after every one of his defeats, he is weakened and needs "thousands of years" to regain strength to regain a physical form (unless in Crystallised when a ton of evil acts in recent history speeds up the rate to which he can re-manifest). Crystallised just happened so not enough time nor other villain arcs have happened to allow the Overlord to reform for Dragons Rising. Garmadon wouldn't be a villain because we literally just had the arc of him becoming good again. DR writers Burke and Wyatt are smarter than Andreason and know to not immediately undo this character development, like Andreason did for Pythor and Ronin in the past. It wouldn't be the One because they were all killed in season 10, plus yeah, the Oni are just destruction monsters wanting everything but themselves to be gone. They do not make allies, they do not make deals, they just spread darkness. The Time Twins suggestion was one of the stupidest yet, They used to be very powerful when they had their elemental abilities still, but they don't anymore. Ras specifically calls his new master (you're right, he refers to his master singularly, there's only one master, not two) currently "powerful", and we see when he speaks to his master they literally have powers, as he's sent to a space realm to communicate telepathically with this person. Again, the Time Twins are currently powerless. PLUS, the whole "control time, control everything" quote on the wall was an Easter egg!!! I genuinely don't get why you're so sure the Twins are gonna return because of this. Easter eggs are just cute hidden references to the past for fans to spot, rarely a tease of future plot lines. Are you suggesting the Time Twins came to the Monastery to write that phrase on the wall just for kicks? It makes no sense. It's just a callback to an earlier season for fans to spot, likely in-universe Wu wrote the adage on the wall as a reminder to himself of his past mistakes. And yeah, Burke and Wyatt don't want to return old characters to DR because new fans won't know them. We are pretty confident from leaks that the face depicted on the Gong of Shattering represents Lord Ras' master. It's a draconic face. Plus, to access the temple the Gong is hidden in, the temple being used in the Shatterspin ritual, you need source dragon energy to open the door. The new sets have the source dragon of motion in them, so clearly this source dragon will be immediately important in DR season 2. Ras has a throne chained to it. The source dragon of motion is Ras' master. It's dissatisfied with the other source dragons and has the most ambition (to become the single most powerful dragon), so Ras bows down to it and helps it to rise above the other 6 dragons. Either Ras continues to serve under it, or enslaves it like he did Nokt (evidenced by the chains on the dragon in the set). I'm not sure either way, the chains may just be for a cool aesthetic, but nonetheless, the source dragon of motion has to be Ras' master, logically.

They made him into a joke in tournament of elements and it's one of the main reasons I don't hold season 4 nearly as highly as many do, he was comedic relief and then Arctorus acted like Pyhor had always been a skrew up rather than the snake who united the serpantine aftee centuries of war, outwitted the Ninja multiple times, and was implied to have canabalised many of his fellow anacondri. In season one he outwitted Garmadon and all the Ninja, single-handedly defeated them in their own home, 1v1'd Wu, and ended up succeding in his plan. In season 3, he earned the Overlord's respect, and was shown to be as cunning and ruthless as the Overlord himself. But since season 4, he's a bumbling idiot, they could have redeamed it all by just having him be the Vengestone buyer in crystalised, he was peefect for it, he has a past with Lloyd, he was season 1's villain so being back for the last season would be great, he's used vengestone before, he's established colligues with the Overlord, he's been absent since day of the departed, and he could have realistically been watching the previous seasons unfold because Pythor can turn invisable, rather than just hiding behind a pillar for some reason. But because the crystalised writers were thick as soup but thought they were clever, they decided to subvert expectations and dredge up another character to ruin her instead.
Idk, in S1 he was a huge coward as well Yes, he was witty and cunning, but he never was brave in first place. His successes were the result of either his wicked planning or the efforts armies he allied with. In S1E12 he didn't actually "defeat" the ninja, he just distracted them by sabotaging the ship, then stole the fangblades and fled away The only reason he 1v1d Wu was cuz he didn't actually have any other choise, they were isolated in a moving vehicle with nobody else. His combat skills are weak and he never used them in the show He never defeated a strong enough enemy in a fair way either
The reason Arcturus said smth like "finally we can be proud of you" is because helping ninja in Season 4 finale is actually the only good thing he did in his entire life He united the snakes not because he cared about them(he didn't at all), he only wanted to use them in order to complete his plan in releasing the Devourer. Oh and also the way he united them was absolutely screwed up, he caused actual pain to his own species just to defeat them in an unfair way. Same for working with Overlord, the literal embodiment of evil who wants to destroy eveything, that probably was disgusting for Arcturus and the other banished generals(if they somehow knew about these events while being in the Cursed realm ofc) Remember that snakes weren't actually evil and they didn't want to do any harm to humans at first, the reason why they started the war was them trying to defend themselves while falsely believing that the humans are gonna betray them(due to Chen's manipulation)

He was a genuine threat that kept the Ninja on edge and one that couldn't be power crept because his strengths came from cunning rather than power.
@@samaron8970 welp in S1 he was the main villain, so of course the writers would show how dangerous he can be Same for S3, he was the second-in-command behind the main villain, so once again the writers would focus on him doing a huge part of Overlord's plan using his wit and wickedness Later on, he never has such a big role in the storyline(it would be kinda repetitve if the writers would do the same thing to the same character so many times), in DotD and S15 he's just one of the many servants of the main villain(Yang and Overlord respectively), so his charaster features like his strategical planning ability wouldn't be focused (I'm not defending S15 btw, I don't really like it either)

I think it kinda would make sense for the time twins to return because in the finale they were using there mech to go to the future were there is no ninja and for a breaf period in the begining of dragons rising there wasn't and i think acronix got lost in time (again) and i believe we have already seen crux but he just changed his name to Rapton I could be wrong but hey thats just a theory.

I have to admit alot of this video didn't make sense and was kind of stupid. Let me break it all down:
You're right on the Overlord, he came back too recently, but also, after every one of his defeats, he is weakened and needs "thousands of years" to regain strength to regain a physical form (unless in Crystallised when a ton of evil acts in recent history speeds up the rate to which he can re-manifest). Crystallised just happened so not enough time nor other villain arcs have happened to allow the Overlord to reform for Dragons Rising.
Garmadon wouldn't be a villain because we literally just had the arc of him becoming good again. DR writers Burke and Wyatt are smarter than Andreason and know to not immediately undo this character development, like Andreason did for Pythor and Ronin in the past.
It wouldn't be the One because they were all killed in season 10, plus yeah, the Oni are just destruction monsters wanting everything but themselves to be gone. They do not make allies, they do not make deals, they just spread darkness.
The Time Twins suggestion was one of the stupidest yet, They used to be very powerful when they had their elemental abilities still, but they don't anymore. Ras specifically calls his new master (you're right, he refers to his master singularly, there's only one master, not two) currently "powerful", and we see when he speaks to his master they literally have powers, as he's sent to a space realm to communicate telepathically with this person. Again, the Time Twins are currently powerless. PLUS, the whole "control time, control everything" quote on the wall was an Easter egg!!! I genuinely don't get why you're so sure the Twins are gonna return because of this. Easter eggs are just cute hidden references to the past for fans to spot, rarely a tease of future plot lines. Are you suggesting the Time Twins came to the Monastery to write that phrase on the wall just for kicks? It makes no sense. It's just a callback to an earlier season for fans to spot, likely in-universe Wu wrote the adage on the wall as a reminder to himself of his past mistakes. And yeah, Burke and Wyatt don't want to return old characters to DR because new fans won't know them.
We are pretty confident from leaks that the face depicted on the Gong of Shattering represents Lord Ras' master. It's a draconic face. Plus, to access the temple the Gong is hidden in, the temple being used in the Shatterspin ritual, you need source dragon energy to open the door. The new sets have the source dragon of motion in them, so clearly this source dragon will be immediately important in DR season 2. Ras has a throne chained to it. The source dragon of motion is Ras' master. It's dissatisfied with the other source dragons and has the most ambition (to become the single most powerful dragon), so Ras bows down to it and helps it to rise above the other 6 dragons. Either Ras continues to serve under it, or enslaves it like he did Nokt (evidenced by the chains on the dragon in the set). I'm not sure either way, the chains may just be for a cool aesthetic, but nonetheless, the source dragon of motion has to be Ras' master, logically.

Remember when Pythor was cool? In season 1 he was portrayed as extremely cunning and insane, his cowerdice was more just good survival skills than anything, since he only fled fights he couldn't win. They made him into a joke in tournament of elements and it's one of the main reasons I don't hold season 4 nearly as highly as many do, he was comedic relief and then Arctorus acted like Pyhor had always been a skrew up rather than the snake who united the serpantine aftee centuries of war, outwitted the Ninja multiple times, and was implied to have canabalised many of his fellow anacondri. In season one he outwitted Garmadon and all the Ninja, single-handedly defeated them in their own home, 1v1'd Wu, and ended up succeding in his plan. In season 3, he earned the Overlord's respect, and was shown to be as cunning and ruthless as the Overlord himself. But since season 4, he's a bumbling idiot, they could have redeamed it all by just having him be the Vengestone buyer in crystalised, he was peefect for it, he has a past with Lloyd, he was season 1's villain so being back for the last season would be great, he's used vengestone before, he's established colligues with the Overlord, he's been absent since day of the departed, and he could have realistically been watching the previous seasons unfold because Pythor can turn invisable, rather than just hiding behind a pillar for some reason. But because the crystalised writers were thick as soup but thought they were clever, they decided to subvert expectations and dredge up another character to ruin her instead.

Yes, he was witty and cunning, but he never was brave in first place. His successes were the result of either his wicked planning or the efforts armies he allied with.
In S1E12 he didn't actually "defeat" the ninja, he just distracted them by sabotaging the ship, then stole the fangblades and fled away
The only reason he 1v1d Wu was cuz he didn't actually have any other choise, they were isolated in a moving vehicle with nobody else. His combat skills are weak and he never used them in the show
He never defeated a strong enough enemy in a fair way either
The reason Arcturus said smth like "finally we can be proud of you" is because helping ninja in Season 4 finale is actually the only good thing he did in his entire life
He united the snakes not because he cared about them(he didn't at all), he only wanted to use them in order to complete his plan in releasing the Devourer. Oh and also the way he united them was absolutely screwed up, he caused actual pain to his own species just to defeat them in an unfair way. Same for working with Overlord, the literal embodiment of evil who wants to destroy eveything, that probably was disgusting for Arcturus and the other banished generals(if they somehow knew about these events while being in the Cursed realm ofc)
Remember that snakes weren't actually evil and they didn't want to do any harm to humans at first, the reason why they started the war was them trying to defend themselves while falsely believing that the humans are gonna betray them(due to Chen's manipulation)
@@ozelotultra But in season 1 his cowerdess felt like practicality, he didn't enter fights he couldn't win, and using strategy to win battles was playing into his strengths, but from season 4 onward, cowerdise became his defining characteristic and a joke like the rest of his character. He was a genuine threat that kept the Ninja on edge and one that couldn't be power crept because his strengths came from cunning rather than power.

@@samaron8970 welp in S1 he was the main villain, so of course the writers would show how dangerous he can be
Same for S3, he was the second-in-command behind the main villain, so once again the writers would focus on him doing a huge part of Overlord's plan using his wit and wickedness
Later on, he never has such a big role in the storyline(it would be kinda repetitve if the writers would do the same thing to the same character so many times), in DotD and S15 he's just one of the many servants of the main villain(Yang and Overlord respectively), so his charaster features like his strategical planning ability wouldn't be focused
(I'm not defending S15 btw, I don't really like it either)
