Thanks for sharing I'm fixing to do a piece with dried flowers and some artificial ones to replace the original from the floral arrangement. I am glad to have stumbled onto This video.
@@EjoysArtSpace29 I'm so happy I stumbled on your vid too. Can I use artificial flowers with the resin? I didnt' know it's possible. Can I ask where do you get your resin and mold. Appreciate your help and advice. I'm just starting out and from Singapore.
Wow.! Flowers look too good. They look like real ones..! Where did you get those! I tried doing a project using artificial flowers/plants/leaves. But it didn't have that touch, you know.. it felt too artificial. These bookends look amazing. The client will be very happy with your hand work ❣️
Thank you Twinkle 😊 I got them here: invle.co/clehums I'm actually happy that they are looking like real flowers. I'm hoping that the client will like them 💝
Hello. I am doing my first silk flower commission. Did you have any trouble with the colors bleeding? I am wondering if I need to seal mine first. Thank you.
Hello. I didn't have problem with bleeding at all. But the flowers that you're gonna be using might be different, so I suggest that you try to coat one flowers with resin and see if the color bleeds before you do the rest. Good luck 😊
Do you use specific shape artificial flowers? I have some fake roses Im thinking of using in some resin but im just scared that the petals are too flimsy to pour right over it. I feel like it might crush it. Idk if I should seal them or find a way to harden them in shape before 😩
You’ve probably already answered this, so sorry to ask you again. I noticed that you use different ratios in your resin amounts for different projects, how do you determine what ratios to use for which projects?
Hi. I just follow what's written on the resin brand's instruction. On my previous projects ,I've tried many brand of resin that's why I used different kind of ratios. It is very important to follow the instructions of the resin when it comes to ratio. The projects that you're going to make does not determine the ratio that you're gonna use.
Hey dear I have a doubt Would you help me clear it out? I have done the first layer it's dried around but in the centre, it is somewhat liquid. It is only on the top but it's hard inside where did I go wrong? It's been 4 days still it's still the same It's the same amount I used for the whole first layer
@EjoysArtSpace29 I attempted this earlier after watching another youtubers video. I went almost 5 hours, and my flowers still floated😭 I'm not sure if I should try in smaller layers? Is there anyway to prevent the lines in between layers? Also, my resin says it takes 48-72 hours until I can de-moled and then 4-5 days fully cured. Is that why after 3-5 hours my resin is not really ready to do another layer?
@@bez9481 your resin takes 48-72 hours to cure means you need to wait longer time than 3 hours. Best way is to check on it time to time to see if it's ready before you put the flowers
@@EjoysArtSpace29 with your experience, do you think I should wait a full day before applying the next layer? Yes, it was a disaster, and I was almost in tears. It is a 2 inch deep mold, so I'm not sure if I could use a deep coat resin as most of those are ideal for 2-4 inches, and my flowers would still float😑
Meu Deus, eu não sabia que podia usar flores artificiais para esta peça 😱😱 Tô encantada. Parabéns pelo belo trabalho 🥰

Do you cure with Uv/led lamp please?
Or how does it cure
It's Epoxy resin, it cures on its own for 6-12 hours or 24 hours
Oh wow! How long do you cure it for each layer? :O
Thank you 😊 🎀 I cure for it 1-2 hours.
But it actually depends on your resin brand.
I love that icy blue from JDiction, does have a name?

Philippines 😊
For the Small size of Hexagon. How much grams you used every each layer? Thanks ❤
450g of Part A and Part B
Hello! May i ask, for the medium size, roughly how many grams of resin did you use?
SUAS AULAS TEM EM PORTUGUES AMEI

What type of Resin do you use and do you ever have to sand?
I used fast-curing resin and this was done in layers. But the best to use for this project is deep- pouring resin
I don't sand.
Overall how much resin you used for large one? Please reply
1.5kg

How much ml or gms bottle will be required for 1inch depth 30cm wooden frame? Please suggest
I haven't tried that size
How much days usually it takes to complete the project
Took me 2 days to finish one bookend. It'll be easier of you have many molds though
A doubt why can't we pour resin completely at once why to pour in layers? If layers how much time between layer to layer?
To avoid flash cure, it is the sudden curing of resin, it will bubble a lot and start to cure in seconds ,hard as rock and will ruin your project
