@@weichun4168 Talent isn't the only measure for a musician. If that were the case, everyone would be playing music like The Black Page. There are plenty of drummers out there who are not the best, but are damn good entertainers - and these guys are definitely among them.
@@weichun4168 Sticky and Garry are playing in the spirit of *showmen*, like Gene Krupa - drummers that are celebrated not necessarily for their great finesse, but for their charisma and engagement with the audience. They are a different species of drummers. Peart never got off of his chair to play a tom duel the front of the stage, and Krupa never nailed a solo like Tom Sawyer. It's invalid to compare drummers who work in such different ways.
I have always loved the drums, but did not do anything about it until now and have just started taking lessons at 51.. This isn't usually the style of music I listen to but stumbled across some videos of Sticky. I can't get enough of this guy. Amazing drummer, always smiling and having the best time of his life. I have watched plenty of great drummers on youtube, but not sure if I have seen anyone else express so much joy in playing. Keep it up Sticky
Very fun! Drum battles are the most fun when they are in good spirits, and swing is a great style to work in. I enjoyed this more than watching Buddy Rich, as you can tell these two are friends, and it's not a serious competition.
Great to see my old drum teacher Garry allcock drumming away. Gary taught me how to read music.. This led me to composing music and gaining a place at Birmingham conservatoire to study composition for 4 years with the great Indian composer John Mayer who pioneered and created indo jazz fusion music.. Garry's drumming is so old school and melodic which I love... Garry allcock inspired me so much..
Ain't nothing like drumming to keep you fit!ive played drums for nigh on 60 years now and still love em.most important thing is keep open mind.im also part Samoan and Tongan so island rhythm s always in me.i love this taloafa maloleilei and Bula vin aka!

Fantastic.. Sounds like Hawaiian War Chant from Tommy Dorsey with Buddy Rich from an old Eleanor Powell movie. Sticky a chip from the Krupa showmanship school.
Amazing and fun. I love seeing very skilled players having a good time and being funny. It's kind of in the tradition of the late great Freddie Crump, who makes me smile whenever I see one of his old videos. It's a vital reminder that we all must enjoy what we're doing with music, because that's what it's all about in the end.
I love the drums it’s my favorite instrument and I’ve played in a band for many years but don’t play anymore except for my drum set on my computer, it’s called REAL DRUM.
