    I understood you perfectly, thanks for the review. Really debating on this case and this helped me with deciding to pull the trigger and purchase it for later use.

    Thanks for the great eview!
    I also looked at this case and besides the price and dust filters I have one other issue. Cooling for the hard drives in the hot swap bays. Half of the fan is blocked by the PCB for the backplane, and the drives are really close too. It might not be an issue for unraid, but could be for zfs based systems.
    Also Silverstone has multiple, cheaper cases using the same frame, but they made sure none of them can house this many 3.5" hard drives....

    • @techpchouse

      I greatly appreciate your feedback and want to thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. You’ve raised an important point that sets this case apart from others. It’s truly amazing how many 2.5” SSD/HDDs can fit in this case. Regarding your concern about cooling in the hot-swap bays, it’s worth mentioning that the cooling isn’t as bad as one might initially think. Silverstone has designed it reasonably well to manage temperatures effectively. Once again, thank you for your valuable insights!

    Your English is fine. It was only made worse by the jarring background music.
    Also, you didn't cover the possibility of disk installations inside the case, which is something I miss in this video.

    I'm interested to know what parts you have chosen for your NAS / Home Server. Please supplement all information into your description. As you have pointed out, some of them, a full list would be awesome. Thanks, and your English is perfectly fine. The German accent is noticeable, but that's clearly no draw back.

    Hey dude! Thanks for the concise video. The information was helpful as I am actually currently looking for a new case. I have a couple of drives, but thought I'd ask:
    does the case have room for internal SSDs? I have 2 SATA-SSDs, that I run the OS on. They don't have to be hot-swappable, but I need to fit them into the case.
    Also: given a regular but short PSU, what height is the CPU cooler allowed to be? Also if I opt in for an AIO CPU cooler with a radiator, do you think a 240 or 340 mm radiator would fit in there somewhere? I don't think I'll be using a GPU, but it'd be nice to keep it as an option for the future.
    Thanks again for the video!

    • @techpchouse
      @techpchouse  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey thank you my friend! The case got Space for additional 5 or 6x 2,5” HDD/SSD. I think a 240mm or 340mm AIO won’t fit :/

    I am getting this case for my first DIY NAS build. I noticed there are two power connectors on the hot-swap rack SATA and PATA power connectors. Do I need to use both power connectors or one or the other? I plan to populate all 5 drive bay slots. Thanks for the great review!

    Hello, thank you for this video. I have one question about how the hard drive tray module back into the case is powered. In the case I see a Molex 4 pin connector and another Sata power 15 pin connector. Do you need to plug both or only one of them? And which one is better to use? Thanks!

    Really nice video! I am planning on making a NAS/Server with truenas in that case next year, a ryzen 7600 with 32gb 5600mhz ECC ram, an intel arc a750 for video transcoding and maybe some LLM for a peronal gpt, 5 toshiba n300 8tb with a ZFS-2 pool. Thanks again for this video

    • @techpchouse
      @techpchouse  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      thank you for commenting and feedback! I recommend using an AMD oder Nvidia GPU instand an intel gpu because of the lack of optimal drivers for transcoding or using AI. I watched a lot of videos and did a lot of research where people compare the three gpu brands where they test them for plex, other video transcoding or Topaz AI. most tests didn't worked or didn't worked well or worked outstanding with intel GPU's. AMD and Nvidia worked every time and are comparable, what's not possible every time with intel :(

      @@seifenspender I want to clarify that I have not yet built the system, I am saving up money hoping in a price reduction of components as I want to use AM5 platform. Either way I do not need more than 1-2 streams at the same time so It would not be an issue in my case

    • @techpchouse
      @techpchouse  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      2x 80mm on top blowing in, the fan on the hdd blows in and the 2x 40mm fans are blowing out. you will not have static pressure issues because the case is open on the sides

    Also erstmal zum Englisch, weil Du das ja gleich am Anfang mehrmals hattest: Die paar Muttersprachler, die sich hier gemeldet hatten, sind sehr nett. Aber leider nicht die Leute, die Dich auf dem Gebiet weiterbringen. So ziemlich alle Fehler, die ich gehört habe, sind leicht vermeidbar. Ich schlage daher vor, Du guckst Dir etwa 1000 Stunden NAS-Videos mit aktivierten Untertiteln an, mit dem Ziel, die Aussprache der Leute und die Verwendung der Begriffe bestmöglich zu imitieren. Denn was andres ist Spracherwerb letztlich nicht.
    Oder Du machst das Ganze in Deutsch und kannst so ohne Hemmungen interessante Information, Hintergründe und Tricks flüssig rüberbringen statt schaumgebremster Werbetexte. Wobei, das ist ja ein Werbevideo, insofern paßt das also.
    Speaking of, anstelle der dauernden steril glattgeleckten Kamerafahrten wären Zusammenbauschritte wertvoller.
    Bei einem Gerät mit 80- und sogar 40mm-Lüftern stellt sich jedem minimal versierten Betrachter sofort die Frage, wie laut das Ding im Betrieb wird, wenn solche Lüfter tatsächlich verbaut sind. Die Geschichte mit dem 120mm-Lüfter an der Backplane ist da schonmal wenig ermutigend, wenn der sofort auf 100% läuft. Man erfährt auch nicht, ob der eine PWM-Steuerung hat. Der Hinweis, daß er, am Board angeschlossen, weniger laut ist, läßt das zwar vermuten, aber letztlich will man ja die Platten kühlen und das Board wird nicht die Plattentemperatur für die PWM-Steuerung heranziehen.
    Mehr über den Umgang mit dem Ding erzählen und weniger, wie toll das Teil ist.
    Das wird schon :)
