The Welsh Section D, or Welsh cob, is one of the traditional breeds of Wales, with an ancestry dating back hundreds of years. It is an important member of the Mountain and Moorland breeds, also known as native ponies of Britain. This breed is noted for its sensational trotting action, and many people buy a Welsh Section D for harness work. They make reliable, hardy riding ponies that are good weight-carriers too. Many people sell a Welsh Section D as a supreme all-rounder for the equestrian family.

@@ehorsesinternational dont feel sorry, i hade her most of her life and she did not die of sickness but of old age at the farm she knew where she was on the meadow with other older horses surrounded with all that was familiar. No vet no butcher no pain, she went to lay down and went to sleep. For me
It was hard but she gave me her foal and yeah a lot of good memories. My childhood memories was wrapped with her and the other horses. But she and the welsh cob section D were my favorites. The welsh was real versatile and the Icelandic horse was a rock when all horses could bolt away she remained steady and cool in her head. Never did a thing wrong at all. She thought my dad to ride at 50 years old😉so yeah Amazing horses 🐎 cool channel you have! I now want a Percheron but that’s a whole other story🙂
