I really hope Monolith soft remaster the original with this engine they used to create Torna the Golden Country. Wii or 3DS's graphic cannot do justice to the original game.
Great review, I especially agree with that apart about appreciating a lot of old characters more - Jin, Mythra and Haze were all in XB2, but I like them so much more now after playing through Torna.
So exited for this to arrive in physical!! I'm looking forward to it so much. It's pretty incredible they made dlc that can be considered a game in itself. That expansion pass has delivered more than I ever thought it would. Feels a rare thing now a days to have company give that little extra instead of the bare minimum to be honest. Can't wait :D
I really liked Torna, but I think I got more out of it because I played XC2 first. If I played this game first I probably would have thought it was alright. I think it's important for understanding Jin to play XC2 first and then play Torna. But that's just my perspective, others' opinions might differ.
Completely fair, just means you’ll have so many great things to play when you eventually get it! XC2 was actually the main reason I bought my Switch and the library is picking up now which is great, so I hope you enjoy it if you ever get it :)
Xenoblade great game series. I just never cared for it's combat. Played the heck out of the first game an loved xenoblade X. Sadly I sold off my switch near the end of last year.

Fair enough, I wasn't into the combat at first but it grew on me halfway through XC2 :3
