the work you put into these are crazy man. the intro, the camera angles, even the ROOM LIGHTNING CHANGES (for example 1:35) which matches perfectly with the song. this is, in my opinion, a true masterwork of mixed reality.
by the way, i would love to know how do you manage to move your camera mid-game while the controllers are still tracked by your camera. and also, do you manually preset the room lighting for the song, or do you manage to automate it somehow?

The lighting is all done manually in post. I have a tutorial series releasing very soon which will teach you how to make things like this.

how do you match the lighting? do you do that manually, or do you sync real world lights with the game? Wouldn't those show up in the footage after you apply a chroma key to it? I cannot imagine going through the pain of masking those out by hand, nor having to guess what parts of your body should be lit up in what way. How do you do it?
EDIT: I can now see the lighting does not match up at all. But that still makes me wonder if it would be possible without going through the grind of rotoscoping all of the footage.

I do manual MR composition, so I can add effects to the subject without having to roto for days. Roughly re-producing the lighting from this map was still a lot of work though.
If you're interested, I'm working on a bunch of tutorial videos on this subject.
