No not really
The only reason why it looks like it is because Omotea actually knows how to dance and adds a lot of movements herself. If you only moved your feet according to the gameplay it would look .... stiff. I mean look at how she moves to the side by walking backwards. It's not necessary to beat the map, it's her own movements which are based on actual dancing.
If you want to learn how to dance, lessons will be your best option. Oh and this is the case with basically all rythm games that track your movements.
But you'll need to hit all notes right 😂

Eh you can do it. Once you get past the chaos of having things fly at you at high speed - that is, once you get the nerves of a fighter pilot - you can beat most levels
Edit: I’ve never played with my feet; no sensors and too small of a space, but I imagine it would be the same deal
