The Skoda Karoq is a five-seat SUV that sits below the Kodiaq in Skoda’s model line-up and effectively replaces the popular Skoda Yeti. It has no shortage of rivals, but its combination of a neat and practical design, fun handling and excellent safety stand it in good stead. Niki, it's a delight to see you on your second video. Hope we get the chance to see you on even more videos. Btw, the Yeti is not dead as you should know that the Karoq is not meant to be the Yeti's successor. Skoda is planing on coming up with a new Yeti which will be as quirky as the old one.
Are you sure? I haven't seen that reported anywhere; all the motoring press seems to be referring to this as the Yeti replacement. I love our Yeti so hope it's true as this does seem a bit boring.
Tony Sampson According to an article I read that was the info that was officially released by Skoda. That's the reason this car was given a different name. Time will show.
I test drove the Karoq over Xmas - a really, really nice car and better than the Tiguan. The interior is particularly nice with a reactive and intuitive infotainment system.
Don't let her go, Carbuyer. Make her stay. XD Great review.

The seats are at their most forward position? When the boot was opened it looked like there was nowhere for the seats to slide back as it was tight against the rear

You didn't really show us the seats moving around or the boot space very well, but a good review otherwise. Skodas of late are becoming more appealing

88Sauce Longcross Film Studios. The Studios, once an important M.O.D site with considerable history, have over 200 acres of backlot. There is a 2¼ mile Test Track constantly in use for filming that was once used to test 80 ton army tanks and now is used by prestigious motor cars together with motoring events.

It's the old MOD RARDE site at Longcross in Surrey. You can just about see the entrance from the London-bound M3 past the Lightwater junction

I would clearly prefer that car than VW Tiquan or Seat Ateca and any other car in this segment. Looks a little bit boring from the outside but great from the inside and overall this is a very good car

Why there is no videos including the interactive cockpit. Thats a shame, because i think many people will buy this feature, The standart speedometer looks just terrible, same as the kodiaq. Why they make it looks so lame i don't know, but car reviewers please do review with car that includes feature that most people was interested in this car in first place. I mean it's first skoda model with it. It's looks like Skoda announced about it, but now are regreting it, because voilkswagen tiguan looks crappier compare with koraq. I don't know but i would love to see that. Please reviewers!! What are you thinking about.

I would pay 650 £ to NOT get an electric tailgate on any new car. I hate those things!
You can still use it manually if u like
Not all of them. In my experience not even close to all of them...
If you are a frail short elderly person then a powered tailgate is a godsend

One advantage the Skoda has over the puggy, It won't throw an engine management light and limp home backwards like all puggies.

The first bid for someone who is going to evaluate a car is to know the product! Here are several things that go against what many motorists boast about! And most people agree that a liter in a Karoq is a wasteful purchase! And forget a very important point, such as that the entire rear seat row can be removed was not mentioned in one word! BAD revue !!

Skoda used to make 1.9 Diesels (I had one). These days they have 1.6 which actually has a slightly better power output and performs roughly the same.
If you want 4WD then you should pay a ridiculous 10k more because it is available only for highest trim

Looks like Skoda copied Peugeot 3008. The cockpit seats separation.
In Skoda name the "S" sound like the begining "sh" in "show" or the end of word "English".
