Hi all! Thanks for checking out my video! I didn’t know comments were happening or I would’ve replied earlier 😳 guess I need to update notifications. This is teak, I believe. It’s a vintage wood plate or tray from 70s/80s. I use an orange oil, beeswax polish when finished. It conditions the wood while still allowing for the image to be “felt’ as well as seen. The video is sped up quite a bit so I’m not moving through the wood quite like butter 😅 but I appreciate the compliment either way. Feathers are one of the first images I started burning so it has gotten a bit easier to do freehand. If I didn’t answer a question or anyone has a question please comment and I promise to follow up soon! Thanks again for watching 🤗🤗🤗
Beautiful touch. Another Feather freak here. I actually collect them or they find me. Been woodburning forever @ STILL learn neat tips/ tech., etc. 😚 Could say alot more great thngs, but won't. Thanks for sharing your tech. for shading feathers. 😊 Shading @ Stippling are my main techniques.
I often just start a project and forget to document it 😑 I’m working on doing better. My IG has some short videos but I def want to post more here too!
you make it look so easy your hand glides through the wood like butter. That is SKILL.
Really nice

Nice work! Very inspiring 🙌
Looks amazing.
awesome👍🏻
You are really great. What type of wood burner are you using? It burns so nicely. Mine is big and bulky like most of them. I love it.

P.S. i often add a couple layers of Polyurethane for a finishing touch. Works very well
Hermoso trabajo yo aprendí a dibujar por este medio del TH-cam
Amazing, what wood was it please!
I believe it’s teakwood. It’s a vintage wood bowl style that was popular in the 80s.
How do you clean the tool?
What kind of burner are you using?
