    Holy cow. 61 here. Work out ALOT. I'd say 50 years had underarm issues, clothes would pick up the odor. This video changed my life. Thank you so much! 8:36 in the video on body odor. I started using Neutrogena Acne cleanser under my arms when showering after workouts. After trying so many deodorants over the years, I honestly do not even need it. You are a Godsend.

    One addition about body acne. Try to wash your back and bottom after rinsing out your conditioner, or re-wash back side. We obviously try to save time and wash our bodies while we wait for the conditioner to do its job, but I've found that this can contribute to body acne. So, I quickly re-wash my back with a brush and rinse extra well.

    What’s wrong with sleeping naked, if you live alone or with significant other. I’ve done that almost all my life. Probably the healthiest method. A lot of women don’t feel comfortable doing this, but give it a few days and try it.

      When you fart in your sleep particles of feces sprays, if you are wearing undies they will catch it, if not it goes right into your sheets and is spread all over your body. Nothing wrong with sleeping with limited clothing but it's a good idea to wear something on your bottom. Even just a loose pair of pajama shorts or men's boxers as they aren't as tight and restrictive as underwear but still catch the particles

    • @KingArtexerxes
      @KingArtexerxes 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@umopepisdn. This sounded interesting, so I read several articles on the subject. The overall consensus is this is totally harmless. All the particles are so small that they immediately turn into the gaseous form, and are molecular in size, causing the odor. They are not harmful in any way.

    Happy Thursday, Dr Dray! ♥ I hear you on the "natural" deodorants. I was in a phase where I was making my own deodorant. Seemed to work for awhile, but then developed a horrible rash. Went back to regular antiperspirant and was fine. Then, a few months back I decided to try the Native deodorant, because they were advertising the heck out of it. Again, it worked for awhile, but again developed a terrible rash. Now I'm back to regular aluminum antiperspirants, and my armpits are healthy and happy! I think I learned my lesson.

Thanks to you and some small changes, my plaques are moisturized longer (I'm copying some of your shower routine, I do miss a towel but my skin loves me more) and I'm using vanicream antiperspirant before bed and my smell is much better. Omg 😲....I watched one of your videos before about deodorant and benefits of putting it on at night after showering 🧼. In addition you explained about odor related to skin bacteria 🦠 verses sweat. After watching that previous video I started using hibiclens as a wash for under my arms at night and then adding deodorant afterwards before bed....Major game changer!!!During my teenage years my parents and I always believed traditional deodorant just didn’t work for me. I tried different brands and they just didn’t work for me. At a young age I had to transition to Secret and then as an adult Secret clinical. Since I changed my routine through your recommendations I no longer need secret clinical and can use regular brand deodorants. You can’t imagine the money I save as well. Anywhere from a $2-$3 difference in pricing. I am so glad you mentioned hibiclens in this video because it validated for me that I am on the right track of what I interpreted from your previous video 😊 💗

It seems like Americans shower daily while other people around the world don’t. Water is an irritant so how often should we really be taking a shower l, especially if there no reason to (no sunscreen, physically activity, intimacy, etc).

      @@21972012145525 No reason to take a shower? I am not an American and living in Israel, I assume fit a definition of "around the world". Even not working out daily, I can't imagine going through the day feeling fresh or even basically clean without taking a shower at least once a day, using gentle products where needed and moisturizing all over, so no irritation.
      Not going to elaborate or go into too many details :-) but just being alive we are being engaged in a "physical activities". As far as intimacy goes, people often desire to freshen up in a shower before (for self-confidence and out of respect for a partner) and after.

    I agree on the natural deodorant. I used the smidtch rose deodorant and it did nothing but gave my white tshirt two huge patch of yellow stains in the middle of the day. I looked ridiculous walking around with yellow pits and didnt know until i went to the bathroom. Incredibly embarrassing!! On top of that, it does not keep the armpits dry and just mask the odor with the strong fragrance. It is more expensive than regular deodorant and i hate it.

    Good tip about using Benzoylperoxide against underarm stink. I‘m personally very happy with using an aluminum deodorant every other day (I trust you, when you say, it’s not dangerous), but I know a lot of people, who just won’t use those. Oh,I have a theory on why that happens, it might be that since your armpit’s pores are clogged with aluminum, therefore not allowing for sweat to come out from there, the body compensates by sweating even more in other areas of your body, in order to cool down.
