Good to see you back up in the loft John, you've been busy. I like the multi level track coming down the straight, It'll be a great hillside scene when the scenics go on. Please put some masking tape over the freshly "sleeper grimed" track, i gasped there watching the wet plaster cloth dripping all over it 😮 Keep up the good work my friend, looking forward to the next update......Andy.
Hi Andy, Yeah, been busy up in the loft due to these wet days we have been having recently. There is still a little way to go on finishing the backscene . So pleased that I decided to start a fresh on that part of the layout. Good tip about masking the track, and I will take that on board next time I have sprayed the track. Thanks for your message, all the best John.
Hi Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the answer to your question regarding cardboard packing, well thos came in the boxes with our Next furniture delivery. So, I saved it as I thought it will come in handy 🤔😉. I don't know if you can buy it off the Internet from a supplier if you not planning to buy any furniture 🤔 😉🤣. Thanks for watching and all the best. John
Do you know that instead of buying stuff from a hobby shop like plaster cloth, you can buy it much cheaper from a hardware or even cheaper from the local plaster supplier. Also paints and similar tools etc..
I always find it very satisfying getting the track laid down. It makes the whole idea that I have in my head a reality. Looking good.
Very true, nothing more satisfying seeing track down. I'm really pleased how it is coming on. Thanks for your comment once again. Regards John

I have used Woodland Scenics underlay, and agree with you it’s very good product.

Are you kin to David Gilmour? You could pass as his son. Cheers from eastern TN
Now, it would be cool if you were talking about Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd?? But sadly not 🤔😒
