When your children or grandchildren are old enough to be taught about God, I challenge you and your spouse to tell them the terrible truths of Calvinism and then watch their spiritual progress over the ensuing years.
Tell them what you believe about God:
Little Johnny, God has predestined the minority of people to be saved and go to heaven forever, and He has predestined the majority of people to be eternally damned and burn in the fires of hell. We have no idea, little Johnny, if God has predestined you to be forever damned or forever saved.
We love you, little Johnny, but we accept the fact that God might not love you, and that He may have plans to send you to hell for your future sins. If you do find yourself one day burning in hell because He hasn’t elected to save you, just remember that we will always love you, even if God hates you.
Take comfort knowing that we are not like God.
We will be in heaven forever only because we were unconditionally chosen for salvation before we were born. That would be the only reason that we won’t be in hell with you if you find yourself there. It won’t be because of anything we did.
So also take comfort in knowing that. It may not seem fair, but who are we to judge God?
So again, if you find yourself in hell, remember that we will always love you as we forever worship the God who loved us but who hated you, the God who sent His Son to die for us but not for you.
Please, we ask, don’t let it bother you-if you find yourself in hell-that we love the God who hated you and showed you no mercy. We must accept the fact that God is sovereign, and He does what He pleases.
My dear beloved Calvinist, will you teach that to your children or grandchildren?
I suspect that your answer will be “never.” But why not?
Why would you ever hide the wonderful “doctrines of grace,” the “Bible truth,” from your own children or grandchildren?
    TRUTH IN LOVE

And republicans are perfectly in line with how Jesus says to live?

      Hi, I’m Patrick.
Certainly not, by any means! I’m not even a Republican (Actually registered as a member of the Conservative Party, here in suburban Buffalo). I’ll be the first to say the Trump isn’t saved.
There is a quote from Isaiah 2:22 that has always resonated with me; “Put not your hope in man, who has but a breath of air in his nostrils; on what account is he”? The guy, who has no filter between his brain and mouth, is far from perfect. He has been married 3 times, constantly uses profanity, and frankly I do think could have better handled the crises with illegal immigrants being housed and kept together as families before they were lawfully deported. John MacArthur, whom I admire and follow, put it best in the 2016 election; that he is less concerned with what Trump MAY do than what he knows Hillary WILL do. Our sovereign and perfect God is absolutely not a Republican (or a Democrat).
That being said, there is no way that a genuine Christian could support a Democratic candidate today, only because of how extreme (and I’m speaking in generality) the party platform has become; i.e. full support of abortion, homosexual marriage, destroying the concept of gender, sex-reassignment for children, socialism, and a lack of respect for law and order.
Politics aside, what’s your church background? Who do you like to follow?
I was raised Roman Catholic but by God’s grace heard the gospel in my 20s. I am part of a Reformed Baptist church. As a fellow Calvinist Protestant like Voddie, what I love about him is that he is bold in his proclamation and teaching the gospel, that we are saved by grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ Jesus alone. A gospel that those as diverse as Trump, Biden, & Harris all need to surrender to.

@@patrickc3419 I agree with everything you said its just hard to understand how people say Trump was suppose to be chosen by God to make our country better..I am Democrat I dont agree with half of the things Democrats stand for but candidates like Trump leave no option ...but I must admit I dont even wanna vote democrat cause what they stand for but I choose them before I choose a racist liar.....all I can say is pray for me that I grow closer to Jesus so I can make the best decision..God bless u..

Republicans and Democrats have the same view of life the difference is one is pro life and the other isn’t. The parties have nothing to do with Christianity they’ve only adopted Christian principles as do the Democratic Party to a certain extent. Both parties recognize God through His creation but do not acknowledge and praise Him as God. They’ve been given over to a debased mind and the consequences continue to unfold before us a decade later after this video. There is nothing political about the government of Christ. Christianity is set apart from the belief system of this world which is every and anything and our hope lie solely in the Sovereign not fallen man. Repent and believe onto the Lord Christ Jesus and turn from your wicked ways. This message has been delivered. Choose this day.

The propagated lie is you have to vote for the lesser of two evil, God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. You don’t have to vote for a party if the platform disagree with God, people try to force you to choose a side

@@Shield60 It can be hard, no doubt. Charles Spurgeon once said ‘When faced with two evils, choose neither’, which I agree with. Wayne Grudem once said in terms of the 2016 race, ‘If you don’t like either candidate, then vote for Trump’s policies’, which I agree with.
We need to pray for discernment in all things.
