I admit, when I faced the trauma I went through, I believed God had abandoned me and I hated Him for it. I thought He placed no value in me and that is why He had allowed such horrible stuff. I believed with all my heart that God hated me and cursed me from birth and as a result, I resented him most of my life. As a result, I sinned and sinned on purpose and it continued that way until I almost forfeited my soul. That is when I gave up on life, myself, and God. I was dropped into a pit of hell and just wanted to die. Then, Christ reached down and pulled me out. I still have my days when the past is thrown in my face, but Christ didn't give up on me, so I will never give up on Him.
Almighty God is good, I have recently gone through a heartbreak and was so Angry, but this sermon came at the right time. I put myself in situations where God has warned me several times in His word not to according to his word, and when things go bad cry out to Him and blame Him, yet He warned me, this sermon has shown me how entitled an selfish i am and has really helped me see the bigger picture, we are all sinners who have fallen short, the things we have now we don't even deserve them, but because we serve a faithful and merciful God who loves us regardless, He still cares of us,Dear Lord am so sorry, I pray to keep these sermons on my heart and always be reminded that at the End of the day He is still God who will always love us like no other. Praise be to God, "our hope should be in God and God alone!" I am from Chuuk, a state in the Federated States of Micronesia, still residing on my island. Your quote reminded me of a pastor of God, originally from my state, he and his wife were residing in the US when the virus broke out. When everyone was desperately searching for ways to survive and immediately fearfully falling away, this man and his wife said not to. They were going to church with no masks on, they went everywhere like there was nothing to fear, they died due to COVID 19. Their story stuck with me, because the man said, he does not fear the virus, said that he don't care if he contracted the virus, because if he did, and he survived, praise the Lord, but if he gets it and died, then he will be in heaven with God. That is hope! God bless you Voddie.
