    Ur work is just awesome.
    Can u please explain whether the stones r first mixed in resin or u hav put them directly??bcz they seems to be sticky wen u r putting them on the base.

    • @RinirocksArtistry
      @RinirocksArtistry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! They were just placed on the board with no resin. You can do it the other way also but I'm not willing to commit until the bitter end 😂

    OMG such an AMAZING piece .. Can I ask you where do you get your stuff from ?? And for the wood panel did you spray it in the beginning??

    • @RinirocksArtistry
      @RinirocksArtistry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The board is actually a cake board that I found at my local Dollarama. It's more of a fiber board material rather than the flimsy cardboard which I don't recommend. The board was already covered in silver foil. I'm going to do another clock video soon and show the process more in depth.

    Hey I had a doubt....I have clear geode stones...can i mix them in resin and add some pigment and then use it?

    • @RinirocksArtistry
      @RinirocksArtistry  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't see why not but I think you'll get a better effect by colouring them with alcohol inks! Mix in small batches. The alcohol inks dry quickly. The channel, The Crafting Nook, did a video about this not long ago. Check it out if you like 😊

    • @bangtansonyeondan7907
      @bangtansonyeondan7907 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your suggestion! But is it okay to use alcohol ink for geode and then regular opaque pigment for rest of the resin (clock)? Or should I just use one type of colouring medium?

    Beautiful. I m from india. I m working with resin clock like your's. But my problame is my all resin are dripping out .and very thin layer is done. What can I do for these type of problames. Please reply as soon as possible and guide me. As I m lonching my craft store on Instagram.

    • @RinirocksArtistry
      @RinirocksArtistry  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! It sounds like your resin is to thin. What type of resin are you using? I use a tabletop resin. You can let your resin thicken up a bit before pouring and don't overuse your heat gun essentially blowing all your work off your base.

    How do you add the clock mechanism? Do you drill the hole for the hands after you've finished your geode? I want to make a battery operated clock with the battery pack on back but not to where in would inhibit a flush hang against a wall.

    • @RinirocksArtistry
      @RinirocksArtistry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I drill the hole as soon as it's dry to the touch.

    The clock is beautiful, however, sorry but trying to watch half an hour of video with no sound, not knowing in the least what on earth your adding (yes we can see the colour but is it mica, ink etc) the glitter is it just added to the resin? Is it glitter glue?... Its quite frustrating and tbh a bit like watching paint dry. Like I said the clock is gorgeous just hard to watch 30 minutes of video with no sound, no narration (even on screen explanation would've been fine) sorry not being nasty but this is why I've never started a channel (I can't speak and have no idea as to what else to do) but wouldn't do videos with no music or sound

    • @RinirocksArtistry

      Yes, I agree, but we all have to start from somewhere and we learn and grow as we go along. Products that were used in the video are listed in the description box.
