- £100,000 Retro Game Collection? This is the best Retro Game Collection I have ever seen in terms of rarity, condition and consistency. Gotcha ya to on reselling as you likely know gem I run eBay store but it's not my job it's to help fund my hobby hrs time and investment works out less than minimum wage . I do it for the games so I agree it's about finding new homes for them .

That's amazing what a fantastic find in over 30 years to find the condition of these super Nintendo games is more than immaculate condition! have you got Equinox on the SNES? it's a great game sequel to solstice on the NES ❤
Also gem and any gamer reading i hear lots about prives agreeing snd disagreeing and on the comments .my belief is a price is not set in stone what an app says or shop or other or ebay or clz or otger but two things what someone will pay and them what two.people agree both seller and buyer as long as fair and both happy. 😊

In 2024 where the trend is towards digital distribution of games and movies it makes you appreciate all these older games that much more.
This made me realize I need to start taking better care of my older games, particularly the nintendo games that came mostly in cardboard boxes.
You make a good point, todays games are mainly digital, but when todays games are considered retro, we will struggle to find and re-play them, that will be sad times.

The collection itself was quite amazing and the condition really well kept. You seem to get excited about PAL games a bit too much, even though you don't mention it I think PAL snes makes you get hot and sweaty. If these meetings are planned then its probably best to get the owner to put a lot of stuff out on a table or something. If you were coming round my house its the least I would do.

Xmen apocalypse all CIB in lovely condition and I’ve got Lufia CIB coming from Australia as only way to get an English box and manual! Love the snes!

@@TheGebs24I have that FF2, got it from cex when they first brought back retro stuff for about £65, i think, about 4 years ago, maybe more or less, i forget. Thats not even the "rare" version of final fight 2 either! The spain exclusive version, with the same boxart as the japanese one, is much more obscure. One on ebay for about £650 give or take.

I worked on one of the games they have on their ebay store, Ice Nine for Nintendo Game Boy Advance. It is quite rare, I don't know how many copies were actually made. The publisher Bam went under during the development of the game. Along with the GBA version we were also making a PS2 and XBox version. The GBA version was the only version that was published. It was completed before the console versions and because the publisher was so strapped for cash they decided to release it before the other versions were complete. But alas, the PS2 and XBox versions never came out, even though they were almost complete.
The game is loosely based on the 2003 movie "The Recruit" with Colin Farrel. The 2022 Netflix series of the same name is similarly based on the same license.
Ocean, legend developers/publishers..... Some film-licenced games were a bit naff, but, ahhhhhhhh my C64 & Amiga days

And people ask Why keep things sealed in boxes? Because this reason right here. It is way different when seeing brand new condition sealed items compared to open dirty messy..
I don't get it tbh. Buying games and leaving them sealed. That said I have sealed games too😂. I feel stupid not opening them but it's been too long now I can't open them!

I collect for PS1, my newest game: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 for PS1. I will never sell my collection, because I play every single game, that's in my collection. Tonight I'm gonna play Final Fantasy 8 for PS1. I'm also curious, do I remember everything about Syphon Filter 2? Because 24 years ago I completed it easy.

Actually sonic drift is a very common game gear game it's blast and 2 in 1 and labyrinth that are the rare ones.
