Finally someone mentioned the intro haha! 😃 Thank you so much, man! More amazing videos to come! Yea, I shouldve picked it up! But Ive seen it at more places for 1000 yen, luckily!
Yea, and they didnt rise in price as much as the rare games, in recent times. Thanks! That was definitely a great deal. I need some more PC Engine games to the collection. Cheers mate!
I so want to go back. I was actually able to go to Japan earlier this year, and got to go to Hard-Off and Book Off. We bought a few super famicom games.
Totally get it :D Oh awesome, Ruby! Glad to hear that you found some Super Famicom games to bring home. Which titles if I may ask? :D Super Famicom is easily my favorite system of all time.
Ohhh man, it has been not more than 2 weeks and I miss so much Japan as a very nostalgic 90s person... Japan was a paradise for me. Always cool videos man! 🙋🏻♂️🎮🖥️
Yea man, I bet you do! :D It is definitely a paradise. Thats why it has to be documented ;) Hope you found some great games and that you can come back soon. Thanks for watching. Really appreciate it!
@@RetroMoments yeah man I went back with bunch of stuff that I didn't have and wished so much to have [super Famicom, N64, bunch of boxed games, some Gb games, ds games and even a switch game lol] Definitely next year I'm going there again. Thanks for your videos! [it is normal to have that hard off song playing in your mind randomly through the day?] hahahaha
I LOVE that ue showin gameplay and images of the games that are in the shop. Seems such an obvious and ez thing to do but i dont see many utubers doin it ! Have a good one bro!
Thanks man! Glad you and more people are telling me that. I will definitely continue when you tell me how much you like it. You have a good one too! See you another video :D
Great loot haul mate! I love your videos, they're always a highlight when they pop up. Hopefully I'll get a chance to visit before all the game shops stop stocking retro games
Thanks man! I really appreciate hearing that. A lot of really cool videos to look forward to as well :D Oh yes, I hope you get the chance too. This wont last forever and its crazy how much the prices has changed since the pandemic.
The PS1 part in the Junk section is like the best kept secret for Hardoffs lol, I swear the amount of 110 yen gems I found bc it was the tiniest bit of scuffed is insane
Hi mate, just got back from my first trip to japan and lots of hard offs and book offs found a load of games planning a trip back in 2025 😊 another great video and some great pick ups 😊
Hey man! 😃 Oh awesome! Would love to see or hear about your pickups. Curious to know what you got! Thanks! Really happy to see you here in the comments! 🙂
OMG I totally went "VIHHIIII NICE!!" when I saw that boxed copy of Seiken Densetsu 3 ... and then you didn't buy it 😂 Holy M' - and right after that a boxed copy of FF 6 .... which you did get either 🤣
Haha, well I already have it of course :D Both Seiken Densetsu 3 and FF6 are very common games in Japan ;) But sounds like you liked the tour of the store. Theres more to come :D
Nice pickup Metal Slug and R-Type for PS1. I saw Rockman for GB sneak in there. I like to select games you show us footage which gives more insight to the games.
Thanks man! Yep, definitely some quality stuff for great prices 😃 Yea that stuff really takes time to edit! Glad you and other people tell me you like it! I’ll keep the gameplays going 😃
Oh yea, in Europe as well. 15 bucks is a good price for it. I already have it and currently looking for the second one! Glad you enjoyed it Scott! Thanks for watching!
The best shop of the trip so far? Looked like they had lots of fun stuff, boxed and loose. Did you know Policenauts has a translation patch? Time to pick up one of those cheap junk games! :)
Björn! Nice to see you here in the comments again! And yea, this HARD OFF was really good. Too bad I had to rush through everything since they were closing. I have to go back here. And about Policenauts, yes I heard about that. But how does that work? You play the CD through an emulator and then use the patch? Or do you know?
Yeah, I’ve been watching your videos without commenting for a while:) I know the basic theory of patching PS games, you burn a new CD with both game and translation patch on it. Then you can play it on real hardware. Not tried it myself yet, but I’m glad it’s possible nowadays!
Ah I see. Thanks! I appreciate that of course :D So thats how it works. Too bad I dont have burner anymore. But I will probably pick up Policenauts next time, nevertheless. Looks totally worth adding to the collection!
So many cheap super famicom games that I still need to get complete there, well a lot of cheap games actually. Definitely need to go to Nagoya next trip ^^
Oh really? Which ones? :D Mostly common games in this video, so Im curious to hear. Yea, I dont know why people are sleeping on Nagoya. We got good stuff here.
@@RetroMoments well, for starters, all Donkey Kong games, only have loose carts now. Mario kart, all Super Bomberman games, Rockman 7, Super Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy games, Dragon Quest games, Yoshis island. And pretty much all N64 games :D Will pick up a lot of common games next trip for sure :D Perhaps it would be best to have them shipped home instead :)
Oh really? That was unexpected since you have so much! Well, lucky for you, these games are gonna stay within the same price range for some time forward. So you're not in a hurry to pick them up! Sounds like a plan!
Thank you for watching! Glad you liked the video. And yes, I will show figures and more stuff. I already have a video recorded. I think you will like it. Stay tuned :D
Interesting video, if you like retro, you'll love this. The boxes are very colourful, better than the Western releases. The shop names are funny, with Hard Off, I keep thinking of Hard On; sorry!
Thank you for the kind words, Neil! Oh yea, boxart in Japan is definitely superior, no questions about it. And yea, I feel like someone has to say that everytime I post a new video from this place haha!
@@RetroMoments Very safe. It was nice being able to walk city streets late at night with no fear of crime. Nice that you have the opportunity to be there so often! Cheers.

Yea and its even more dry now. Fresh videos from Tokyo coming too. But, it is easier to find better deals in smaller cities or outside any city for that matter.
Absolutely. Its different depending on the condition. I could recommend you watching my NEO-GEO Hunting Video here: th-cam.com/video/ebAGQxFew2s/w-d-xo.html
