People who are fans of comedy know there are dozens of comedians who are considered elite and don't get nearly the same attention. There is no other reason why 90% of his audience would consist of women. Men are fans of comedy too so obviously something else is going on here.

"Be okay with silence". There have been many minutes in his stand up where he was speaking sincerely to his audience. You could hear a pin drop it was so dead silent. He was talking about his OG Grandfather, and also anxiety, depression, and mental wellness. He had me on the verge of tears. It was so so great. That means he hooked his audience, and the millions of people who watched and rewatched it online. He is a natural. When he does the crowd work, it's like he's talking with his very good friends. So comfortable. He has confidence, not cockiness. I love everything he's done. He has earned all of the accolades he is getting. His success just exploaded in this past year. I'm rooting for him.

The lady did an excellent job, asking intelligent and interesting questions, nothing about his looks or who he’s dating or anything about his private life. I saw him on GMA or some talk show a while back, and the first thing the female host said was how cute he was, Christ! We get it the guy is attractive, but he is also a brilliant comedian. How about we concentrate on his body of work not just his physical body.

This is such a synergetic interview. Matt Riffe has always been a pretty reflective person (most comedians are) and to match that with an interviewer who goes deeper makes for great enagement. Secondly, this is great advice for any medium you are in. 1) Do what you love or tolerate in any capacity. (focus on the action/performance) 2) Take small movements now for big leaps later on (writting every day) studying 30 min a day is completely better than cramming, trust me I know lol. 3) Make silence your friend. (Especially if you are person who needs to present on certain topics)

For a number of reasons I am very cautious about clicking on Forbes' videos, but I like this guy and decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. What a wonderful interview and the young lady interviewing him was wonderful! She followed the golden rule of good interviewing- she listened. Because she listened, her follow-up questions were always spot on and kept the conversation moving. He was completely comfortable with her. Loved this!

This is such a synergetic interview. Matt Riffe has always been a pretty reflective person (most comedians are) and to match that with an interviewer who goes deeper makes for great enagement. Secondly, this is great advice for any medium you are in. 1) Do what you love or tolerate in any capacity. (focus on the action/performance) 2) Take small movements now for big leaps later on (writting every day) studying 30 min a day is completely better than cramming, trust me I know lol. 3) Make silence your friend. (Especially if you are person who needs to present on certain topics)

I love his interviews. He is very grounded and simple. He never tries to be funny in these interviews. I think he'd be a great motivational speaker after his comedy career like a show or podcast or even maybe a talkshow host seeing him as a talk show host would be cool

I literally discovered this guy about 6 days ago; his reels kept popping up on my (TH-cam) feed and now i'm OBSESSED!! Kudos to him for crediting and name checking the bigger comedians he worked with who gave him advice which he has clearly taken to heart and learned from.

What a Great Video. This Woman is Fantastic! Making it a Comfortable setting and inviting. Matt Rife...so Amazing! He's honest about his Anxiety, his Depression is such a Positive, needed to talk about and he does. Never have seen a guy his age, that IS the Total Package. The Bond with his Grandfather, didn't come from Money. An Inspiration to others that can relate to where he's been. On top of all of this, Matt is Seriously FUNNY. I rarely laugh as hard as I do watching Matt. Keep Working Hard, Matt! You are Finally Living your Best!
For a number of reasons I am very cautious about clicking on Forbes' videos, but I like this guy and decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. What a wonderful interview and the young lady interviewing him was wonderful! She followed the golden rule of good interviewing- she listened. Because she listened, her follow-up questions were always spot on and kept the conversation moving. He was completely comfortable with her. Loved this!
Matt is so articulate and a hustler who deserves every bit of success he has. Good for him. He is Great!!!
