As someone who only has ever played halfway through Shadow Dragon (so i have some exp with FE) I can say that this games deserves all the hate it has ever gotten. All for the simple fact it has no Gordon. Simply it is the worst in the series due to the lack of Gordon. The story is just bad without the greatest character ever created. If our lord Gordon was in this game the story would be perfect with everything he brings to the table. Gameplay would be perfect and everything would just work. However without Gordon the game is a burned shallow husk of what FE should and could be. No amount of hatred and malice that I could muster would be enough to describe the seer amount of loathing this game deserves for not including the best, the most powerful, compelling, thought provoking, and amazing tear jerking character arc that is Gordon. 1/10 not Gordon enough.

Gotta love it when the recruitable green unit dies turn one. And that unit also happens to be the only character with Capture when it can actually be used (excluding Paralogues). I really want to know what kind of Revelation led to this masterful game design.
@@oof5992 The problem isn't rescuing a unit. The problem is that you can't get near that unit or their assailents by turn one, and the enemy has a very high likelihood of one-rounding the character. There is no skill or thinking to it. Just resetting until Orochi doesn't just get murdered.
@@thepsyshyster yep show's that you have not played Rev. Literally several units can get to the Ninja that murders Orochi even on Lunatic from turn 1. Hell Base Takumi with a Gunter or Rinkah or Any Str Pair up 1 shots the ninja with a around high 90's hit rate. With the ninja dead Orochi cannot die turn 1 or turn 2. You don't need to reset at all. I save her everytime in my Rev Lunatic Iron mans. Edit: And if you lack any Str Pair up which is extremely Rare you can just Str tonic Fujin Yumi Takumi into the Ninja. Takumi Joins in this chapter at the start. Deploy him into the right side spot.
The snow chapter was specifically built as a personal attack to me in particular. Yes I have to clear every square of snow off the map. Yes it takes too long. Yes, I hate it. 1:22 There I am Gary THERE I AM!
Ah yes, Revelations. The Third Option of Fates which leads to the golden ending. Many FE fans have been tilted by this game and believed it should not been made at all. But is it Ironman material? Absolutely yes! Is it badly playtested and needs a hard revision? Depends. Does the Anankos cutscene give you the chills on how are you going to defeat a Silent Dragon that massive? Definitely yes. If you want to play it so badly? You might want to purchase it before it's too late on the eShop.

2:08 yeah this right here is Rev in a nutshell. My Rinkah missed 5 strength level ups in a row and was doing same damage as Hana right there. I know balancing the game is hard, but they didn't even tried.
Spoiler: The final boss here is more dramatic than the other two without being too easy to one hit kill like DraGaron or too difficult with lots of annoying enemies beforehand like GhosTakumi I actually tried and figure how to one shot each body part. You can check my video in my channel of course
Revelations is easily the most decisive game in the franchise. But its in of the best fe engines(fates) and from what I played it wasn't boring. Until I play it start to finish (and no corrin solo) I don't think I can say more about it. Also Gunter only died to Astra like a Champ much better than Orichi who died and stayed dead.
