Fun fact: LazyPurple actually got drunk for the drunk Demo part of the video, mentioning that he is never going to make such a mistake ever again afterwards lol
@farukmertbasyigit5601 I relapse if I drink alcohol mang and my psych doc literally witnessed a dude who took the same meds as me; well they drank alcohol and they had to put him in a straitjacket and a padded room.
I absolutely LOVE the opening. It's a shining example of the "mook horror show" trope. An illustration of just how terrifying it is to go up against a skilled Demoman with default Uber.
In terms of Lore both Blu Solider and Red Demoman actually became good friends when they accidentally met up at a Gun Expo...but the Administrator the announcer during the matches feared that if they talked together they will eventually realised that She was managing both sides which at that time none of the mecenaries knew or at least are not bothered by it so she ended pitted each other by false information
This is exactly what it feels like to play Demoman. Demoman was my first main in TF2 and I loved playing it for the gory body splattering fun. Nearly every kill makes the bodies dismember into pieces. Engineers have the hardest time countering Demos but again Demos always have the hardest time with Scouts and Snipers.
It isn't really explained in this video (probably to keep the focus of the videos on each class's _standard_ loadouts), but because TF2 allows you to change every class's loadout with different weapons, there are some playstyles called "sub-classes" that can drastically change how a class performs. A prominent example that is shown briefly in this video is the "Demoknight." Where you swap out the Demoman's Grenade Launcher for some boots (giving you speed and more max health), and his Stickybomb Launcher for a shield (which gives you the ability to charge for temporary ultra fast run speed and guaranteed crits). Which is why he suddenly started running around shanking people with a broken bottle for a bit. The most common weapon to use with that combo is a literal sword that you use to cut people's heads off and absorb their life essence, increasing your max health and movement speed every time you get a kill with it. At max power with the sword + the boots, Demoman becomes a super tanky beast of a man that has more hp than Soldier and moves faster than Scout. Of course, at the very harsh cost of being restricted to melee range.
Have to love the intersect with Phoenix Wright. Although I find it a bit odd that the jury would declare the "guilty" verdict, but then again, when it comes to Phoenix Wright, it does have a lot of wacky stuff happening there. Having a parrot take the stand has to be one of the highlights. I'm also quite certain that Maya would find herself with a murder accusation even in a LazyPurple video somehow.
Maya: Nick help! I played this game "tea for two" and now I'm in a trial for "violation of player etiquette" or something like that. Phoenix: ... Maya, I would say that I don't believe you, but seeing what we've been trough, I'm actually surprised that this isn't worse.
@@franconunez925 Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a TF2 and an Ace Attorney crossover case at some point. Both worlds are insane enough to facilitate each other seamlessly.
Everyone points out Sniper and (rightly so) Pyro, but this video hits home. Demo was the char Purple played after he finally absorbed the game's meta, and it shows hard. This video is also immaculately peak on editing and showcasing his various takes. This is the how it Purples to be Purple video.
Fun fact, the ending minecraft thing if I remember correctly is a little skit among the episodes which he gets recordings of people disconnecting after he kills them, and he made it a joke that they just all left to go play minecraft together, instead of you know... rage quitting.
Y'all watching these just makes me want y'all to play TF2 more and more. I wouldn't even care if you start off playing against easy bots, I want you guys to experience this game for yourselves. It's honestly really good right now, especially since cheaters have become less of a problem.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames A little bit of both, I feel. Valve has FINALLY been updating the game a bit more consistently and have been adding measures to take cheaters off servers as quickly as possible. So far, I have only ever seen cheaters and bots on the new summer maps they just added to the game, but that's pretty much it for right now. If y'all ever decide to play, you should play Casual on any of the "Core Game Modes" maps. I haven't seen many cheaters on those, except for the occasional aimbot Sniper, who'll probably get kicked in a short couple of seconds anyway.
Guess there's needs to be an entirely separate video for a melee-focused demoman aka demoknight. He can wield a shield that lets him charge the enemy with the wild scream, and various melee weapons like a katana, a longsword, a german grenade...
If y'all enjoyed LazyPurple's videos, might I suggest SoundSmith's weapon and hat stereotypes videos? They're quite funny and would really show what's in the game.
A lot of people have suggested the extras video for Demoman, but please consider doing the extras for sniper and pyro as well along with "how it feels to suffer in SFM" (which is basically Engineer extras)
i have like 5 matches in total in tf2 i played demo on 2 fort once and placed my stickiys in the severs of the enemy teams base behind very good voer so nobody sees them and i randomly press detonate and killed 1 sniper 1 spy and a heavy funniest shit ever now i need to slowly buy stuff like hats and emotes and get out of the fp2 status to use stuff like team calls

Oh Lazy's drunk bit was actually just him drunk while streaming trying to get footage of Demoman. He was putting himself in the role.
Nice 🥂🍻 we approve 🥳🥳

Not only that. Then after wards you get those heads. Run back to spawn, change loadout and become a hilariously tanky and mobile demoman
Thanks for giving us more info on sub classes and how that can change things up 🙂

And yes, LazyPurple really did get drunk in that segment.
I still love that he did that.
I hope he didn’t have a bad hangover after it though.
😂🍻🥂
Please do watch the behind the scenes because that covers what many Demoman mains were mostly mad about him missing out in reference
Demoman is drunk 100% of the time, so a blurry vision effect when playing as Demoman would be incredibly unfair!
