There were several songs from Freddie's solo album that were not recorded with Queen, but were adapted later by Queen. Another one is I Was Made to Love You. The original solo video is much better and more complete than the Queen adaptation. Time was done for Dave Clark's production of the same name, later adapted for Queen as was In My Defense.
Freddie gave us Mother Love, Made In Heaven was recorded in 1984 for his solo album Mr Bad Guy and reworked after his passing in 1995 by Brian, Roger and John for their final album 'Made in Heaven'
This is one of my favourite Queen songs. How Freddie could sing like this when he was so ill is beyond my comprehension. His voice is exceptional and the lyrics are so poignant. RIP Freddie 💔💔💔💔
For your information: The song "Made in Heaven" was originally recorded by Freddie Mercury in 1984 during the sessions for his solo album Mr. Bad Guy at Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany. The version included on Queen's 1995 album Made in Heaven was reworked by the remaining band members, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. 😉
I've been stuck inside. I left one time to eat at The Olive Garden. I'll be all right. It was sure great listening to "The Wall" with you. It seemed like you appreciated it. Which is nice.
Thank you for that lovely reaction acknowledging all four members. This song always brings tears to my eyes, hearing Freddie’s heartbreaking vocals and Brian’s emotional guitar work. Sheer perfection. 😢❤
Awesome reaction man! I love this version! It’s actually strange when you think about it... Freddie never got to hear this version of the song himself... unless, of course, there’s more between heaven and earth. 😊👑
Yea, I wasn't clear on that. Most of the album had newly recorded vocals by Freddie, but for this song and I think 1 other, they took Freddie's 1985 vocals and just added new music to it. Thanks for watching!
Even though I am not a big fan of Disco I really liked Freddy's Mr Bad Guy album when it came out. This is one of the songs on it as you mentioned. The big hit was I Was Born to Love You. Another famous track was There Must Be More to Life Than This which was dropped from Hot Spaces and then Freddy recorded it with Michael Jackson. On Mr Bad Guy was a solo recording. My Love Is Dangerous is also a good song. You should check out this album if you haven't yet.
All the grand Freddy-led Queen power and drama present till his final album with them... Thanks for watching! 😇
So true, Freddie was a gift from God. Made in Heaven. Great reaction.
Nice background for this. I have always loved how theatrical Queen was, and this was the perfect send-off, if you will.

David Bowie gave us Lazarus in his final days. Freddie Mercury gave us Made in Heaven.
Yes, what a gift and a perfect way to exit on the highest notes! Have a good night bud...

Nice and early!! Great Queen song, I haven’t listened to this one in ages. Freddy has such a distinctive voice…what an “instrument” he’s got! 😊
Yea scary lol! Wasn't sure if you'd heard this one. Always a treat to hear Freddie and the guys!!

So great❤ you will love the video ❤❤❤Freddie Forever ❤❤❤❤
I’ve always listened to the Freddie Mercury solo version, never heard this Queen version. Interesting.
How was it recorded as one of Freddie's last recordings before he died AND was featured on Freddie's solo album???
Yea, I wasn't clear on that. Most of the album had newly recorded vocals by Freddie, but for this song and I think 1 other, they took Freddie's 1985 vocals and just added new music to it. Thanks for watching!
@ ahhh. Good to know. Thanks for clarifying!
No prob! 😊
First? 😁 Good thing I checked right before going to bed!

Agree! 👑😁
I prefer Freddie's solo version I think his voice is more upfront in the mix on his solo version. But Brian did a good job with the guitars.
Queen was a good band in the day. A little overhyped today.
