I blindly ordered this. It comes in a few days. I have a 74 year old lawn that I am sure has not had it done in at least 74 years. I have owned the property for 18 years. Thanks for the review, I'm excited to get this little beast.
Thank you so much for your review. It really helped me decide after searching and researching for a dethatcher which I have never used. Was gonna get the Sun Joe or comparable brand but chose this one after seeing your video. Thank you!
A dethatcher scarifer is a great tool to have but having to deal with a power cord and the cost to have enough length and then not run over it makes this a bad choice in my opinion. But atleast you are working hard to have a great lawn thats all that matters. Any of these dethatching machines work great just get one and get it done.
So the problem with these units is not RPM, that is the first big mistake it could have 40,000 rpm and come to a grinding halt in just a couple of inches because it has no grunt Ie, amperage. Amperage is all that matters here, the next TRICK if for the manufacturer to send you a unit with ten blades on the rotor which like with this model is really SHIT. When you find a 15 amp unit with 18 blades and a 14 inch swath then you are talking about something that might, MIGHT have some practical uses.

Your welcome. I will be producing a followup video on how to care for the machine for years of success.
I was scared to try one of these. After researching it is a no-brainer.
Easiest thing EVER!
Thats nice .I have the sunjoe and the rear wheels dont work great if you have a bumpy lawn.I like how these work .They really get the dead grass out.
Yeah that SunJoe is impossible to get, but I think I will be really happy with mine as long as it lasts.

No problem, I think you will be very happy.
Also if you go in one direction then the other it will work even better .Try that to get more dead thatch up.
Oh yeah, I will go the cross direction in the next couple of days.
That thing is cool I've never even heard of one of them 👍
It was new to me also brother. So many things that we never had as little guys. We can still enjoy them as older guys.
My lawn is looking much better after my first de-thatching
That is awesome. I just released and update on the product video.

Yeah the cord is a big turn off for some. I have been dealing with electric yard tools forever.

Haven't had a problem yet, sorry if you have. I made a follow-up video to help not mess it up. My grass looks so much healthier.
