I think it's appropriate to say that the diamond market is drying up for people who can't afford it** I don't think people who have the money to afford natural diamonds will opt to buy moissanite. For the same reason that that demographic still chooses to buy natural diamonds over lab stones. Moissanite is definitely an appealing option if you're stretching yourself thin trying to buy jewelry. There's a lot of people here saying mossanite is clearly better than diamonds, but I wonder how many of those people would still choose it over a diamond if money was no longer an issue for them.
