Hello J. N., Thank you for checking the channel, The Classic 250 is very good uphill, in my opinion it is a little slow only when you are stopped at a red light and due to the weight and the big tires it's a bit less agile when the light turns green, you'll see smaller and lighter bikes getting ahead, but the weight and the big tires actually help you cruise at a very good speed with minimal acceleration, due to the momentum. Hope this helps and remember this, I got the Classic 250 for the looks, not because of it's specifications. Ride safe.
@@lewiscast3753 thank you for your responsed, but sir, can i ask a favor? Can you please do a vlog while on uphill? Its important to me to know the quality of the bike when it comes to uphill. Thanks.
@@johnnyneri7555 I am stuck in cold Toronto Canada, and will only return to the Philippines late next year maybe 10 months from now. My 2 Rusi motorbikes are in my house in storage waiting for me to return. I have bought some gear that I will add and make videos about it, but like I said it will have to wait. Thanks for the idea I will for sure make a video about the Classic 250 performance with it's highs and lows. Best wishes.
@@lewiscast3753 okay that would be great sir, i'll just wait for your next video, beep me up when you get back here in Philippines. I'm sure you already missed your bikes.
Hello Kim, thanks for checking my channel, I am not sure about the exact weight, I am not a very strong guy but I could lift it up from the ground if it would fall without help. It is a bit heavy and it reflects on the performance, it takes some time to gain speed, but after it is going the weight and the big wheels keep it going fast with minimal throttle. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
Hello J, I am in Ilocos Sur, Santa Lucia, near Candon, I also have a place in Cavite - Molino IV and I will try to make some movies there too when I go back. How about you, where do you ride?
Lewis Cast: got no ride yet but i am planning to buy classic 250 soon. I am located here in Cebu. I really love retro/vintage class bikes. Hopefully i get to taste how it feels to ride one. So, it is true that there is no kick start? only switch start?
The first time I saw the Classic 250 was on Facebook and immediate fell in love. hope that you will get one in the future. No, it has NOT kickstart, only switch. Thanks again for watching. Cheers !!!
Hello R. P. I have a house in Cavite but my motorbikes are in the province of Ilocos Sur, Personally I would think a scooter is easier to go thru traffic. but if you really like the classic go for it, I know a guy who lives in Bangkok thailand an has a classic and he uses it for everyday use and he is very happy with it. You know what they say: we only live once.... enjoy.
Hello C H, Thanks for watching my video, To tell you the truth I don't know, and now I am in Canada and can't figure it out. When I changed the oil at 500 Kms, I should have asked. Best wishes.
hello from northern wisconsin usa ,, thanks for your reply ! i will retire to phil next fall ,,where im not sure,,but to a lower population / province area,,,palawan ? yes i was there for 3 weeks . i used to have a 1979 honda xl 500 enduro,,loved it . but now the newer models are wayyy to tall in the saddle . so im looking at the classy 250 . if i buy one ,,i would change the tires to on/off road , it would be used 95% of the time on road . Question >> any advice you might give me ,,regarding minor mod's for off road ? and are you happy with yours ? thank you ............
Hello again C H, I have been to wisconsin, we crossed to Michigan and went northwest, and took the SS Badger (Steam Ship) to Wis. we went to Milwaukee and visited the H. Davidson museum, the to Chicago and back to Toronto.
hi LW,, you may have missed my question,,on the other post ? ok Question ; any advice you might give me.. regarding minor mod's for off road ? and are you happy with your classy 250 ?
The only mod I would like to do is to change the carburetor to a 32mm Roku. I have 2 Rusi, the Classic and a KR-Z 150 which I use for off-road, it has a better driving (riding) position and I use it a lot, the Classic only when I go on longer trips. But the only motorbike I would consider is a Rusi, all others are too expensive and the Rusi quality is getting very good.
Shell Advance Ultra 4T 10W-40 is the best oil for heavy bikes ....
Sir Lewis? Good day.
