I took Lonnie Thompson's Geography 850 course at Ohio State back in 1991 and it was probably the best course I ever took in any subject matter (and I took a lot of courses in many fields in my life. ) I really appreciated how he just presented the evidence at face value and anyone who actually studied the facts would see what was going on. I also appreciated the courses I took from his wife Ellen Mosely-Thompson. For 25 years I taught physics at OSU and one of the undergraduate courses I taught discussed climate change. I did notice a change in students' attitudes between 1991 (when there was a lot of skepticism about climate change) and 2016 (when there was less skepticism) and it is the work of people like Dr Thompson who made this change possible. In addition to teaching physics (and working as an optometrist), I used to make films, and from the looks of this trailer, I wish I would have made this film.
