Wanted to take a moment to say thanks for the presentation you bring to these Rodney. The "But to that I say, ignore your friends, talking like a pirate is fun!" and embracing the pirate voice was amazing!
I just wanted to say that this is possibly the top two plaid Hat games ever, and is my favorite Pirate game. It ranks up there with some of my favorite story games including 7th continent, near and far, and time stories. People who enjoyed aftermath or stuffed fables will enjoy this. It is very rules light compared to all I have mentioned here, and not complex, which is an impressive balance, with a great flow of rounds and turns. The app is integrated quite well. Some of the voice acting is a little over-the-top, but if you are in a fun group, taking turns reading the entries and putting your own flavor on it is amazing. The solo and two-player variants work extraordinarily well and are well considered by the designer. Highly recommend this game. Definitely top 10 games of 2020. Buy it.
Plaid hat does not know when it will be released retail. I’m in Canada so ordering from plaid hat in US is not going to happen as the total is $150 CAD after $42 Us shipping. Insane. Well, look forward to seeing it at Christmas.
The current tentative retail release date is June 19. The Covid situation could end up setting that back even further, of course. But if you already think the global pandemic is somehow Plaid Hat's fault, I doubt anything is really going to matter to you.

Please answer a question: Do you only keep your pirate sheet for one mission, or do you keep your pirate sheet until the game tells you to discard/complete it? (ie, you could keep your pirate over multiple missions)
@@Beepbopboop19 Dont know why you would need to. You can order more sheets and the game comes with plenty right out of the box. Most missions you would play 2-3 times max. Plenty come with it. Very fun game.
