  • I get so many questions from my first video about dying your hair blonde without bleach that I decided to make an updated video, that answer those questions and provide more details. This is how I'm able to retain healthy hair and curls. Only touching up/dying my hair every 6 months or so and ALWAYS deep conditioning. I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching 😊

    Love how detailed you were with the instructions. your hair looks so good!! l really am eager to dye my curls honey blonde. And l know in order to achieve the light honey blonde l want, I’d have to color my hair twice. And l wanted to know would it be okay to use the L’Oréal HiColor on top of the hair that would be already colored, from me coloring it the first time ? basically what you did right, since your hair was already colored from the previous times you colored it with the L’Oreal HiColor ?

    • @NaturallySade
      @NaturallySade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that would be okay. That’s what I do when I touch my hair. I touch up the roots first then I apply the same dye to the rest of my hair that was already colored from the previous time. I’ve always used the L’Oréal HiColor every time 😊

I might go back and see if they have the Champagne one and exchange the ones I have.

      @NaturallySade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Lise's Pieces I have tried the “Natural Blonde” one when I can’t find the “Vanilla Champagne” but I don’t like it as much. The difference to me seems like the natural blonde is more yellow blonde and the vanilla champagne seems more gray/white blonde kinda. I hope it goes well! I’m curious to know how it turns out!!!

  • @starrywildchild

    Do you feel like it lightend the part you already had done more? I just used this and my hair is now a light brown to dirty blonde. If I do it again should it turn out even lighter? Thank you.

    • @NaturallySade
      @NaturallySade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Brianna Hathaway yes it did lighten what was previously dyed more. But also kind of tones and balances out all the hair bc it starts to get brassy as it’s growing out so it helps w that. Definitely if you do it again, it will get lighter. I would recommend waiting a couple of months and deep conditioning every week to minimize damage.

    • @NaturallySade
      @NaturallySade  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      nhmsmom that comes from touching it up. Every time you touch up your hair it will gradually get lighter and lighter. The first time I did it, by the 3rd time it was the perfect shade I wanted. But the 2nd time you will still see the difference.

    • @BabyyJJ
      @BabyyJJ 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Naturally Sade actually, I’m wondering the opposite thing. I want to do this on my hair but have your root color instead of the lighter blonde. How would I keep the darker blonde instead of having very light blonde

    • @NaturallySade
      @NaturallySade  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jasmine Jennings girl that’s a good question and honestly I’m not sure!!! That sounds tricky. Maybe using the darker shades of blonde when you dye your hair so it doesn’t get too light.

    • @rachelfaith3643
      @rachelfaith3643 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Jasmine Jennings maybe only apply the color to your roots when touching up and not the ends, it should keep the color and when you wash it the color deposits will rinse onto the ends and bring the color back to life without going through the full process like your roots did, if that makes sense

    • @keiraashley9423
      @keiraashley9423 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Gabrielle Victoria black is one of the hardest colors to remove (I had it once and it faded into a stained green color😬) i would suggest doing a couple vitamin C washes (just vitamin c powder and shampoo, leave on for 30 minutes and rinse) to try and get as much out as possible and then you can try the color oops. But definitely try and make sure all the pigment is out as much as possible before using this or it can just drive the underlying pigment from the black deeper into your hair strands. Hope I helped some, trying to save from having a green phase like me 😭😭😂

      @@keiraashley9423 😩 I wish I had seen this video and your comment regarding Vitamin C washes. I had black box dye hair and used color remover (forget which brand) and it turned it an auburn color with stripes of black still in it. 😑 Then I've used Aged beautifully hi lift blonde then 3-4wks later Schwarzkopf Light Pearl Blonde and it's still not lifted. I bought this hi color blonde hoping it'll finally lift these F'n dark strands of hair! I'll probably try the Vitamin C rinses first. Black dye is god awful to get rid of!!

      Oh gosh 😭 I coulda swore it was you lol. Cuz I literally have wella t14 in my hair right now and it doesn't seem like its doing anything. I got loreal hicolor in natural blonde because sallys was out of vanilla champagne. When I washed the color out it came out super brassy like a mostly brick red hue which was not the color I was going for :( 💔💔💔 Its disappointing because I left it in for an hour to ensure it lightened :( I guess my hair is just neinh3 super resistant, because my hair used to lift/lighten so well with loreal hicolor when I used honey blonde & ash blonde.

      Actually yes I have in my middle school days lol. But it was to get a brighter color not to be blonde. But since then I had my hair chopped off and haven’t bleached it since then.

      Hairvolutions GIRL! I’ve done this so many times but still I ALWAYS measure! 🤦🏽‍♀️ 😂
      Hopefully if you try it again, and measure, you’ll get the results you want lol.
