I just love how he did the trio. They are not just copy-pasted, he shot the refrain three times and had to choreograph it by memory, as evident by the slight differences between the three.

you must be one of those people that just runs with what everyone else says, have you actually experienced the game to its full probably not it's actually one of the better titles hands down better than New Vegas
I feel Stupe' would be that one guy that tries to resolve every fight without violence. "Give us ya' caps or else!" "could i interest you gents in an official Stupendium mug instead? no? okay!" *proceeds to tap dance away as fast as possible*
Those painful moments when a fan with an erudite ear for rap songs displays far more dedication to detail, polish, perfection and professionalism than the actual developers.
Anyone else think that this guy is amazing? He somehow manages to tell an in-depth story in a video game song. Honestly, every song he releases is a banger and even if it doesn't go viral, you will still be humming the beat in your head the next day. Keep doing what you're doing Stupendium cause I can't get enough of it.
"Who'd have guessed that these nuclear arms would give me literally nuclear arms" is the best line of any song ever and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
So here’s what I find unique about the stupendium; consistency. Every single one of their tracks is fire. Every. Single. One. They have about as much wit as I’ve put into my writings in my entire career in each video. There are no failures. Only absolutely solid music with usually mind blowing visuals.
"hey joe how you doin? i havent seen you since the vault barbeque last may!" *POW POW* "alright oh jeez ok you can keep the carcass ill be on my way!" 10/10 personal favorite line
I love how he makes danger zone sound soft and comforting while lets all go to the lobby sounds like a thinly disguised threat. Edit: plus the horror of dropping more of bombs that wiped out humanity just for loot
a aaa True. If you listen closely then you can hear soft and comforting sounds when you threaten someone. While if you say something good it immediately get called a ‘psycho’ and ‘please stop telling me to add extra cheese to the macaroni it’s 2am, HOW DID YOU GET IN MY HOUSE?’
This video shows what the game was perfectly, started out looking shiny and ending in a dumpster fire. Jokes aside, i love this song a lot, another great drop Mr. Stupendium.
@@TheJonkMan i dont wanna set the world on fire is a song mostly known for it being in fallout 3 while country roads is also mostly known because of fallout 76 but i dont get the last one myself though
The last one is a popular little song played before a movie starts so the audience knows the movie is about to start and to remind people to buy popcorn.
I love how with every stanza with the chorus, the background continuously decays over time as the singer grows more twisted. The upbeat tempo makes it all the more enjoyable and a dark kooky sense. 5/7 song, would expand it to 40GB and update 76 with.

I love the tiny details that they put int their songs, like showing a cross with Joes name at the end to show an actual story of the main charecter killing Joe, and also the flip of cross words (the puzzle) to cross words (an argument) is just so masterful. Clearly the Stupendium exceeds in their craft.
Very catchy and utterly brilliant. If only the game itself was this good. This is a prime example of someone who releases a finished and polished product compared to the game Fallout 76 itself.
If 76 actually had NPC’s you could see notes and stuff from your and try to find names of people who annoyed you and you could hunt them down or try to help them out Getting rid of NPC’s is really what shot 76 in the foot as well as them not being able to fix any other glitches

Can I just say how much I love the second half of this song? It really brings forward the reality of any online game with PvP as a possibility - nobody's going to want to work together. They're just gonna tear into each other immediately. And you portrayed that in such a way that makes sense in the game's universe - everyone going insane out of boredom combined with previous dislike of their neighbors.

Still listening to this song. It's so good, and it illustrates all the potential 76 had if Bethesda hadn't fucked it with 89 Alan wrenches, 35 rusty bedsprings and a deflated beach ball.
C M But unlike No Man’s Sky, Bethesda has a bad track record for a bunch of games, and keep making more gaffes with this game. “Cosmetic only”... suuuuure.

"is america buried, did it ever exist?" is such a good line I question the existence of America itself. also, "YOU MISSED MY RECITAL AGAIN!" *shoots because you missed his recital again* that shows the game is too violent for its own good.
As always, absolute perfection. It encapsulates the idea behind the game far better than the game itself ever could- and understands the inherent satire of the Old World, to boot, something Bethesda's never managed. Also, I *love* the "Is America buried, did it ever exist?" line, it's very very good.
You went from animating about how not to fall off an oil rigs to animating about how not to fall to the dangers of the wasteland. Swell job, just swell!

This goes to show that a game doesn't have to be stupendous for someone to make a good song out of it. All that's needed are the right hands, and when something's in Greg's hands, it's *_always_* in the right hands!
I’ve listened to this song atleast 100 time, yet I still find small details that really make the song. Like the ever so slight different mannerisms between each characters and even the different singer, how a whole story is portrayed in a song, and so many other small details. It’s things like this that made me subscribe, you just don’t find this quality and attention to detail much anymore. This was the first song of your I listened to, I’m really glad the algorithm gave this gem to me when it came out.
I just realized there's no lyrics in the comments so Here they are: (Chorus) Trio: Do you think that the world could ever be fixed? Is America buried, did it ever exist? Sweep away decay and all the waves of devastation Now we're at the dawning of the day of reclamation. Preservation of the nation. Is a fate we've waited every day in dedication. To build a haven, pave the way for generations of what's left of vault-tec participation. Okay so like I've said before, i found you through the new vegas rap, and I loved it! And for a while it was my favourite of your songs, however I think this may just have overtaken it! The jolly tune, of a naive pre-war America, turned more and more disturbing and sinister in lyrics, with each passing verse, and whilst still holding on to the jolly tune, the characters look more and more deranged. It all adds up to a brilliant song, with a cute little jab at Bethesda at the end. 10/10
And just another case when you release a song and I can listen to it on the loop for hours. If I were to change something, I kind of feel like it would be better if there was one last chorus at the end. Keep up the good work :)
Dude the amount of effort you put into every video is astounding and simply not represented in how many subs you have. You're gonna blow up soon, I just know it. edit: I love that you do rap that isn't mumble rap over super heavy bass like everything you hear on the radio. This barbershop quartet sound with rap is fuckin great.
Radio raps sound really dead to me. No melody, minimal rhythm, pompous lyrics. The only rappers I like are The Stupendium (obviously), JT Machinima, and Dan Bull because they actually have melody
I've made an effort in talking about your other works to highlight something specific about it I liked. for this one, instead; shortly after this came out, I was on a walk, with it in my earbuds. and I am a firm believer in the idea that some silly things one does in public are consequence-free, on the understanding that at most one will be a mildly interesting story someone else tells about their day. so I was walking. and the primary chorus hit at 2:25 and it seemed unlikely anyone I would ever see again was around, so I slowed in my walk for some exuberant jazz hands. about 10 seconds later a car plowed into another in the crosswalk I was about to enter. the chances that I would have been hurt by this if I had not paused for a ridiculous dance break are not high, but they're certainly more than zero.
I think that this is acttually applies to all chapters of Fallout - song lyrics are great, your acting skills are beautiful and your voice is just wonderful!
Do you think that the bugs can ever be fixed? Are the game devs buried? Did they ever exist? Were you hoping for a game full of heavenly bliss? When you started up Fallout number 76
I guess I'll say it. This man is the 'Weird Al' of game fan music. Like the parody songs Al's known for, it's an underrated genre, and it's a shame that it is, because to me, the care of production of this song and many others in his library just scream 'talent' and 'quality'. I always wait with bated breath on what he may come up with next.
I noticed the Easter Egg to your other Fallout song "The House Always Wins" at 0:41. It's little things like that that make me love your songs so much. As well as everything else.
the chorus is melodic and also slightly haunting, and the part where the guy is talking about how fun the wasteland is, he sounds so excited, it's great!
Well, what a joy this is. Oh, wrong video. Edit. That delicate roast in the end made this video even more good than I even could imagine. Keep up the great work, man. This is awesome.
The song references are great, you make them obvious but also integrated them in perfectly. The headshot was wonderfully done actually showing the art behind it. The effort with the costumes and the separate takes of the trio are masterpieces. I love the shadows on the background making it even more believable that you're in this world
Love the smooth lyrical flow and melodious tune, don't always need a speed bit to make a lovely track n video. The bit "but your house will do just fine" made me choke on a laugh as well as the little Bethesda jab at the end. Also side note the pause after the last line in the song helped sell the fall to derangement.
2:04 So country road Take me home To a place that won't irradiate my bones Hear a silly little ditty with a playful tone Transmitting from the middle of the danger zone Country road Take me there To a pretty little crater in the open air It's a bright new future so don't be scared 'Cus everything glows with a bright green glare Can the world ever be fixed? Coming back to this version after the remaster, I think this one lacking the sharpness of the remaster really gives it that "Fallout" feel. I can't decide which one I prefer. The remaster sounds better for the most part, but this one just has that energy. You can also more clearly hear all three voices in the trio in the original, they actually sound like a barbershop trio instead of one dominant lead with two quiet backup singers. Both versions are great!
' And it's BLAMMO, oh' had me in a laughting fit. So, absolute great video. (Btw erb seem to be back, so hit em up! I want you plying a British person.)
@@fatalos6855 Blamco and blammo sound alike. Blammo is a word with many definitions, but one of them is to be hit hard with an object, such as a bullet. Also, blam is sometimes used as a sort of sound descriptor for a really loud sound, such as a gun shot.
"That being said, I already had the song, props and costumes for this one before the disaster unfolded so you're getting this one anyway!" thank god the stars aligned for this banger

Do you think that the world can ever be fixed?
Is America buried?
Did it ever exist?
Were you hoping for a life of heavenly bliss?
When you stepped out of Vault number 76

Is a fate we've waited every day in dedication
To build a haven pave the way for generations
Of what's left of Vault-Tec participation

But tensions got frayed after just a few decades
So we're certain that the surface ought'a be a little friendlier

But your house will do just fine
Got you thinking maybe now's a prudent time
Add some traps to send the rowdy mutants flying
Now I'm an optimist
But was it a bad decision
To make a mission out of living in a vicious cataclysm?
Sitting in the wilderness and killing for provisions
A vault may have its faults but all the halls were air conditioned
Every dweller went from level headed fella' to a villain
So forgive me if it's not what I envisioned

Before things were touched and
We're forced to reform from assortments of morons
A quarter century's quarrels laid dormant
Pip-Boy's and torches

It really brings forward the reality of any online game with PvP as a possibility - nobody's going to want to work together. They're just gonna tear into each other immediately. And you portrayed that in such a way that makes sense in the game's universe - everyone going insane out of boredom combined with previous dislike of their neighbors.

I don't want to set the world on fire
but your house will do just fine.
Got you thinking maybe now's a prudent time
Add some traps to send the rowdy mutants flying
Now I'm an optimist.
But was it a bad decision
To make a mission out of living in a vicious cataclysm?
Sitting in the wilderness and killing for provisions
a vault may have it's faults but all the halls were air conditioned.
every dweller went from level headed fella to a villain.
So forgive me if it's not what I envisioned.
But we're citizens selected out of brilliant civilians
I thought that some decorum
whilst exploring was a given.
Hi Joe! how you doing today?
I haven't seen you since the vault barbecue last may!
Alright Awh jeez, okay
You can keep the carcass,
I'll be on my way.
So country road,
take me home
to a place that won't irradiate my bones
Hear a silly little ditty with a playful tone,
transmitting from the middle of the danger zone.
Country road,
take me there.
To little pretty little crater in the open air.
It's a bright new future so don't be scared.
Cus' everything glows with a bright green glare.
(Chorus)
Can the world ever be fixed?
Is america buried did it ever exist?
Were you hoping for a life of heavenly bliss?
When you stepped out of vault number 76.
Is murdering suburbians getting your kicks?
Well, we ask you to refrain till' the population is fixed.
Rest assured that every resident was carefully picked,
to be remembered as a member of 76.
(Verse 3)
Vault-Tec reminds you
that your purpose is to work to survive through
adversity by working with the persons beside you.
Nah, I never liked you.
I'm gonna craft some ammo and fight you!
There was a time where i'd smile and pretend
that I liked all my friends when society ends
Tell me why the pretense
bring a violent end to that white picket fence
(You missed my recital again!)
Now there's no keeping up with the jones'
I've broken their noses
I've stolen their clothes and I've fed them to the roaches.
That ought'a show him for mowing his lawn whilst im trying to focus
On my crosswords
Cross words are through now
Domestic disputes now descending to shootouts
Truth is diane,
I hate you pecan pie,
this is for bringing one round to my luau!
Everyone's had that fantasy
to be the last of humanity
You might think it's rad to see,
what will grow from this rad disease
the mutations are past belief
Who'd have guessed these nuclear arms
would give me literally nuclear arms?
I hear ground zero has some loot we can farm
so what is the harm if we drop another couple of bombs?
Who'd have thought the horrors of war could be awesome
when chalking them up against the boredom
before things were torched and we were torched and
we had to reform from assortments of morons
A quarter centuries quarrels laid dormant
Pip-boys and torches
blood in the porches
squash clubs and pot lucks
and nuclear launches
Setting the scorched on my mother-in-law is more fun than anything before the war was.
(End)
From Boston down to the Mojave, you've got to get a hobby,
like slaying all your neighbors and displaying all the bodies,
so let's all go to the lobby
and get ourselves a treat
No joke this took me an hour to do

This barbershop quartet sound with rap is fuckin great.
heh *blow up*
Technically its a barbershop QUINtet.
Radio raps sound really dead to me. No melody, minimal rhythm, pompous lyrics. The only rappers I like are The Stupendium (obviously), JT Machinima, and Dan Bull because they actually have melody

I know right! I saw it back a while ago and it does not get out of my head
I keep hoping he would do one or two for them X3

Just like this comment, its better then the game but that's not saying much.

Edit. That delicate roast in the end made this video even more good than I even could imagine.
Keep up the great work, man. This is awesome.
Its a joy, to be among we survivors.
The song references are great, you make them obvious but also integrated them in perfectly. The headshot was wonderfully done actually showing the art behind it. The effort with the costumes and the separate takes of the trio are masterpieces. I love the shadows on the background making it even more believable that you're in this world
How in the heavens did you think of the lyrics it’s too amazing
I watch this at least twice every day.
Only twice?
is it just me or did something change about the chorus?
EDIT: Nevermind. I had the wrong ear bud in. One has gone bad.

The game might be bad but this song is really good and that beat is sick love it so different from everything and funny as hell... god this is good

I just started to play 76 and this is now my pre-game loading song.

@@fatalos6855 Blamco and blammo sound alike. Blammo is a word with many definitions, but one of them is to be hit hard with an object, such as a bullet. Also, blam is sometimes used as a sort of sound descriptor for a really loud sound, such as a gun shot.
