This is very convenient because I just bought one and it needed decorating. Is the game the most current and trending thing for me to make a video about? No. Is it something I had a golden, potentially once in a lifetime opportunity to make whilst decorating an actual house allowing me to make content whilst ALSO getting on with IRL stuff at the same time? Yes.
So enjoy this rather silly song about decorating. Not all evil businessman songs have to be about big fancy people in suits. Sometimes it's a shady independent trader with van...

Personally, I've found boxing the refrigerator upside the door works wonders as well. You just have to be careful not to whack the ruddy thing so hard you dent it, or it ends up being more work.

Hm, a lot of the rooms shown actually have a pretty good paint job, 'specially the orange-and-grey one. Theory: Painting is the one thing the House Flipper is good at and has professional pride and passion for, which is why he's so disappointed that his customer prefers white colored walls.

I think that he’s fairly good at everything except for the most important part, actually installing anything or removing/replacing. He also has never used a single safety precaution and just uses the most overboard option ever

Worth it
I picture the backstory for this character being like an art major who's Dad was a handyman. He genuinely does know his stuff, and has an eye for aesthetics, but most of his work comes from brutally boring white-on-white paint jobs, loose/rusty pipes, and demanding, stingy clients. Disillusioned with his work, he basically just doesn't give af for most of it, alternating between doing the bare minimum effort and actively scamming his clients just to get by. Yet deep down, all he really wants, is a truly fulfilling, challenging reno. Something to tie together his two great loves; art and home decor, so that just one time, he can feel like he hasn't wasted his time. You could write a book about this stuff, honestly lol

I love how Stupendium can go from suave business man to super sketchy looking handy man.
A comment I can't find atm from Stupendium himself indicated that he got into all this business hoping to land a job in acting. It didn't pan out that way, but instead, he took the passion he had and the skills he developed and brought them to TH-cam, where he found his calling in these music videos. So, given how he started out, it's maybe not so surprising that acting is something he has a talent and passion for, on top of his musical talents.
The original comment I sourced this from was a relatively short reply to another comment on his "No Waves Like Home Video", couldn't find it, but I thought I'd share.

I like to think that you ACTUALLY had to paint the walls for yourself and while doing so you were thinking of all the wordplay you can make in this situation and all the funny colour names, just imagine Stupendium with a paintbrush gigling to himself and while painting a wall.

When the chorus kicked in and he said "Satisfaction guaranteed," I immediately followed up with "No retractions, no receipts, refund laws may stand on land, but not transactions planned at sea." I have an unhealthy amount of knowledge about this channel's Animal Crossing songs.
The way he sang "Satisfaction guaranteed, Cash in hand and no receipts..." was the final thing that made me fall in love with this song too. This mans talent is awe inspiring.
I've been relistening to all of Stupes' older songs and he certainly saw that little room for improvment and nailed it. Compare this song to the ones he was releasing two years ago and the improvement in music quality is phenomenal. He's mastered his art so much that even when making a song about his rennovations, it's brilliant.

On the page with the ratings you see advertisements for the satisfactory company and the 2 point hospital company with stupendium in the advertisements. as a son of a builder, I LOVE this song it reminds me of the early morning smell of going to a new house after grabbing summing from screwfix and a bap from the burger van. You know Stupes, it still amazes me how you’re able to raise the standards for yourself every time you make a new video. And I must say that using what I can only assume to be your new house as the set is ingenious. One thing I love about the Stupendium is the way he captures the vibe of whatever he's covering, while still making it unique and catchy, while I've played this game, but the whole vibe of the song fits renovating a house perfectly. Also, never thought I'd say this, but the part about wallpaper was pure fire, and Stupendium at their wordplay best.

gotta say, got quite that British sound on this one. loved all the shady dealing jokes, and referral to red's shady track in the chorus. and that showing up late/pushing back dates reminds me of yesterday when my folks had to get their washer checked (display panel stopped working and now wont turn on) and the time was 12-5, they called at like 5:45 didnt leave a message and just didnt show up instead.
