Big OHIO STATE FAN, Justin was different from all OSU QBs before him. He had real arm strength was a great athlete and downfield accuracy was better than anyone of em. He held on the ball and was slow to certain progressions. He got to CHICAGO and was supposed to be on the bench his first year bc Nagy wanted him to have full grasp on the playbook and learn from Dalton. He was forced into action before they were ready and he was under prepared early, as the season went he got better. He had the flashes ie Pit, Det, 49ers, and Minn games. This second year, the new regime tore the building apart to the scraps, Justin struggled but once they self scouted, he had one of the greatest qb rushing seasons ever, but last year didn’t have the talent around to win. Now this year, they are truly giving him a true progression offense to run with better weapons and he has struggled mightily. I believe they lost to the bucs bc of him, he was missing reads and passing progressions. He will get better as the season grows but them not winning has put him behind the 8ball
As a Chicagoian I’ve never in my life seen the bears draft and develop a halfway decent QB. So you’re telling me Justin has been a top 2 QB prospect his entire life and once he gets to the bears all of those tools are gone? No way! He can def play better we can all see but he needs the proper staff and coaching, but I don’t trust the Bears organization to do any of those things. Say we do tank to get Caleb Williams, we don’t have the staff or culture to build a winning QB. Justin is the best QB prospect the Bears organization has ever had, and we can’t even put him in position to be half way decent.

I used to live in Jefferson Park, I live in NW Indiana now(where I’m from). My entire life, the Bears have never progressed. I saw them win the superbowl in 1985 and they never moved on. The game has changed and they still try to win with running and defense and they’re not good at any of it. They should just keep going the way they are and get Caleb Williams

Clear example of perception is not reality. The entire organization is behind Justin right now. They haven't lost faith in him. Also no one thought the Bears would win this game before the season especially not after starting 0-2. Justin only has to show improvement. Anything thats not backyard football Fields fails, thats great against bottom 10 defenses not so great against teams than can get home with 4 and drop 7 in coverage or having a spy out on every down and play perfect man to man coverage.

As a bears fan, there’s A LOT more going on that justin just playing bad. On a national scale, it’s hard to understand and pass on things like the bears OC changing fields’ mechanics this offseason to mimic rodgers and now making no adjustments when they see it’s not working. In the last game, the bears OC called the exact same screen pass 3 plays in a row. The coaching staff is massively hurting fields right now. Fields is definitely not playing well but as a bears fan it’s super frustrating to see our coaching staffs completely ruin qbs. Trubisky wasn’t that good but again the coaching staff completely ruined him.

Good test scores doesn’t always correlate to being a good NFL qb.
Last year he called out his WR this year his coaches. He can't see the field can't understand the offense. He's just not a QB or a good teammate.
The Bears have more problems than Fields. The defense is giving up serious points. The OL has been constantly changing since last year. Getsy is still trying to figure out the team’s offensive philosophy. Even if Fields was playing well the other problems would still be there. Football is a team sport. And so far all aspects of the team hasn’t been working effectively.

As a Packers fan I have to admit they need to look at the ORGANIZATION! The bears have never drafted and developed a QB in over 100 years. That’s an institutional failure. If a different team drafted Justin Fields he’d have had an actual chance.
